Betty's "Thoughts from my heart"

January 6, 2026

Happy Tuesday,

Depending on God

I enjoyed spending the Holidays with family. It was hard because my daughter and her family were not able to come because of her broken leg. It was also the first without my husband.

There were many tears but God was with me everyday. We can depend on God. God is always faithful. My best friend who was my neighbor for many years, passed away in her sleep. She had a procedure done and went home and went to sleep and never woke up. Please pray for her husband, Mike.

We need not fear this new year. The same God that guided us through last year, will be with us this year.

Maranatha,

Betty

Daily Prayer for January 16
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT

“I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:1-2, NIV

Dear Father in heaven, we come before you and thank you with all our hearts. You know all that we are thankful for. Continue to sustain us, we pray, and give us strength for the paths on which you lead us. Even when we must suffer and fight long, hard battles, we know that everything has its right purpose and will still lead us to your goal. For all this we praise and thank you. Protect us in mind, heart, and spirit. Keep us courageous, and lift us above all discouragement through your Spirit, who will renew our lives forevermore. Amen”

After a victory, do not be surprised when you are attacked by the devil. The devil loves to knock us down right after a victory. Yet, if we praise God and lean on Him, He will see us through the battle without discouragement. Praise God in the midst of your battle. Worship Him I'm the middle of your struggle.

Maranatha,

Betty

Daily Prayer for January 23
CHRISTOPH FRIEDRICH BLUMHARDT
“The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules over all...Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul. Psalm 103:19, 22, NIV

Dear Father in heaven,we thank you for giving our hearts hope for your kingdom, the kingdom of God. We thank you that again and again we may draw strength from this hope, find new youthfulness and courage, and discover how powerfully, though hidden, your kingdom is already approaching. Protect this vision and help us when we fail. All will come right. Whatever happens, we are in your hands, and no one shall snatch this joy from our hearts. Amen”

We all can see that the world is becoming more evil and that we are getting closer to the rapture and the tribulation. Knowing the world will suffer through 7 years of the wrath of God being poured out on the world is sad. Yet, if we have surrendered ourselves to God, we have seven years of bliss living in Heaven to look forward to.

This should encourage us to live closer to God and surrender all to God. We need to share God’s love with others and live in righteousness and truth. We pray for the soon return of Jesus and for lost souls.
Maranatha,
Betty

Always praying for you dear sister. 🙏
We are so blessed how The Lord uses you to bless us even in the midst of your struggles, and I'm confident that The Holy Spirit continues to be your Helper as our Father God faithfully provides you with His Strength and Comfort as He uses you as His vessel to edify and encourage the Body of Christ,
And in turn He keeps you uplifted by His Trustworthy Word that you share with us.
