The Romans built awesome roads to "everywhere" so The Gospel got "everywhere."
Some of those roads are still in use (albeit having been repaired from time to time)
There are some places where the original roads are protected as historic, though.

No student loans/government finaid, so they can stay true to beliefs and keep PC out. There is finaid via the school. Some churches and organizations help their members/families.

Something just occurred to me while posting in another thread. . . after the Rapture occurs, all, or virtually all, of the European counties will be muslim because of the muslim invasion. USSR, too because of islamic republics. In any case, USSR is already allied with the muslim countries. Instant coalition for the second push south in Ezekiel.

Damascus being a ruinous heap from Israeli and/or US strike(s), or blame affixed, would be a huge incentive for the coalition to attack with the goal of pushing Israel into the sea.

FWIW, even today, in strict/conservative muslim places, the penalty for converting from islam to any other religion is beheading by sword. Ditto for refusing to convert to islam or in some places pay dhimmi tax (totally financially ruinous and unsustainable over time), or leave (with nothing, and maybe have to leave (islam-determined) marriage-aged daughters behind)
