Nestlé's KitKat 'Iftar Bars' and Western Cultural Erosion

https://rairfoundation.com/ramadan-conquest-nestles-kitkat-iftar-bars-western-cultural/

Mod note: I have absolutely no idea why the link says "you are being redirected" . The URL is correct as posted, but is somehow being replaced with that "redirected" wording ... which is incorrect because there is no redirection at all.

The link points to an organization known as RAIR. Their statements of purpose is as follows: "RAIR Foundation USA (Rise Align Ignite Reclaim) is a grassroots activist organization comprised of everyday Americans leading a movement to reclaim our Republic from the network of individuals and organizations waging war on Americans, our Constitution, our borders and our Judeo-Christian values."

For some reason all of their different links, when shared, display the same "you are being redirected" text instead of the actual links, even though each link points to a different pay of their site.

Perhaps TT can figure out why.

But I have tested the link above and it is safe.

<<From TT: I removed the "You are being redirected" and have the raw link showing.>>

I've been boycotting Nestle ever since they bought Ralston-Purina (previously Purina) in 2001. Purina used to be a decent company, which produced good, basic pet products and treated their employees very well, but turned into a money-grubbing operation, which doesn't treat employees as well as they used to, doesn't donate as much to the local community as they used to, and uses GMOs in at least some of their pet food and treats

Sad, because so much of the pet nutrition research was done by Purina, and that cost a LOT of time and money.

FWIW, I raised a puppy on Puppy Chow and Dog Chow, and later fed Pro Plan to her and two other dogs their entire lives, and fed two kittens Kitten Chow with great results. Ditto using Milk Bones (another Purina product).

:tap:

This is a problem. A real problem. I am running out of chocolate companies. (Just kidding. There's other better chocolate out there, but it can get pricey.)
I like Lindt. No soy or dairy in 85 and 95 percent cacao Excellence bars. 85 percent not processed with alkali, but too sweet for me, so 95 percent, even though processed with alkali [sigh]. Decent sustainability programs for local farmers, which also translates into a (small) impact against the drug trade in some places.

Lindt is good. I try to get my hands on Belgian chocolate when I can. I've heard Valrhona chocolate is good. We have a local company here that, hands down, makes the best chocolate I've ever put in my mouth. Kyya chocolate. They single source their chocolate and they sponsor our Christian radio station. Win/win. But $$$.

I buy the Lindt bars at Walgreen's when on sale, and usually get a coupon for a good number of points that I can use on my next purchase to get said points (only useable if I'm going to purchase within a week). I try to stack Walgreen's points, sale prices, manufacturer's coupons, any other applicable discounts or specials, and cc points. Sometimes, it's worth paying full price for one or two Lindt bars just to get a coupon or points that's particularly good for something I need to buy, anyway. The close-by Walgreen's has had Lindt on sale for almost a whole year, except for a few weeks here and there. Sale price is usually 2/$6. Sale price used to be 2/$5 [sigh] The points coupons used to be better, too, but still pretty good. I've found if I use the same cc at a couple other stores that I use to buy Lindt, I get a manufacturer's coupon from them or in one of their promotional emails, and it's usually $1 on one or two bars, or $2 on two or three bars. Every once in awhile, it's a BOGO Free. When I get one of those, I wait for the BOGO that inevitably follows shortly thereafter and BOGO 2 Free :hyper:
