I was doing my usual Sunday reading, earlier than usual because we’re snowed in, and came across this article by Bill Wilson, and I’m posting the links where earlier this month, the RCC made these comments, and where I found this on think below for “The Daily Jot.”
From what I see, it appears that we, who support, pray for and know about Israel and the Jews, as well as their views that most of us, here on this forum and believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, along with “…..what other Christians advance (my take - those who aren’t Catholics) damaging ideologies, such as Christian Zionism,” which allegedly mislead the public and harm church unity.
According to Wilson “Jews and Christians who affirm Israel’s enduring covenant are cast as theological disruptors. This Catholic and Vatican-led body includes Greek Orthodox, Armenian, Coptic, Syriac, Ethiopian, and Anglican churches in Jerusalem.”
The Vatican aligned InfoVaticana.com (link below) “defines Christian Zionism as support for the State of Israel and the Zionist project as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy, framed as a political and cultural agenda. Christian Zionism, depending on who’s using the term, “is simpler and older than modern geopolitics. It rests on the belief that God’s covenant with Israel is enduring and not revoked, and that Israel remains integral to the biblical narrative.” That term has been thrown around by the left quite a lot lately, its definition is way out of whack and according to “The Stanford Daily, 10/2025, their definition of Zionism “From the Community | Talking through Zionism and anti-Zionism is what you see when of late, those on the left start screaming about “Zionism,” a term used by many who may or may not be paid to show up and derail Federal Agents in the performance of their jobs.
Knowing that the RCC is the richest country in the world, I have no doubt that they will continue to force their beliefs about Israel and about those of us who know that Israel hasn’t been replaced at all. So, I have to wonder if they are in any part of the payroll for these protesters?? Back to the article…
The author points out that “Catholicism’s replacement theology was historically openly taught and enforced. The RCC teaches that “Jews are portrayed as rejected, while the Catholic Church was presented as the sole heir of God’s promises, leaving little room for Israel’s ongoing covenantal dignity. That theology did not remain theoretical. It shaped sermons, laws, art, expulsions, and violence.” I don’t believe for a minute that they’ll stop at anything to get their way of things done and with a “one world religion on the heels of a one world government, who better to fill those shoes than the RCC who just wants everyone to get along…..”we all worship the same God….Islam (who has a prayer room in the Vatican), Buddhism, whateverism, blah, blah, blah, etc., just not the Jews or those who don’t buy into “replacement theology.”
Be that as it may, I don’t know if we’ll be around to see the outcome of this evil theology, either by death or Rapture or whatever God wills. They can take my life, but they can’t have my soul!
