That was my first reaction also. What does not buying burgers accomplish?

she's from Hollywood, she's an actress. She can't think things thru like normal people. She needs a script for that. So she's ad libbing and trying to sound like she makes sense, failing that she wants to be incomprehensible to the commoners who can't understand her elevated consciousness.

I’m glad that I am unaware of those series, nightmarish stuff.

And I didn't even touch on the built in Mormon racism. The paler the skin the better. The movies had to include a couple of black people to be politically correct, but the book series doesn't. When black people become vampires they lose all their colour and are left with a faint olive cast to their new pale skin. Mormons have always had a thing about skin colour. And the business of child brides. Promised from birth to a husband waiting in the wings.

It IS a nightmare! Fitting really. The author got the idea from a dream she had, and she got up and wrote the first book based on that dream. I'd say it came from the enemy, and it even has elements of the Genesis account of the Nephilim.

But it does track with how the Mormons try to blend in as Christians (pro life, abstinence before marriage) while missing the entire plot of Christianity- Jesus death on the cross to reconcile us to God, for those who accept Christ as the ONE AND ONLY SON of God.

Reminds me of other Mormon infiltrations into Christianity- the Chosen series, Mitt Romney's emphasis on family values (Mormon family values) and their constant blurring of the lines between Christianity and their book of Mormon cult.

When you look at the timing of things, Mormons really put a push on to infiltrate Christianity and politics as well as the arts in the last 3 decades. Since 911 really. And that tracks with the Islamic infiltration too.

Didn't mean to hijack this thread. It's just Kristen Stewart and her Twilight movies reminded me of an overall theme I see. The Chosen, the other "bible" based series produced by Mormons, and I'm not sure if Touched by an Angel was also touched by the Mormons.

Like the Mormons have a timetable. But I suppose it's not them, but the fallen angels behind them. Combined with the time we are living in, just before the Rapture, the Tribulation etc.

The Mormon style of lying is very close to Islamists taqiyya. It’s deceit that is so deep that it can’t be discerned without God’s help. And, like Islam, abuse in families is rampant, crossing normal boundaries (like incest & honor killings).

They both thrive in the name of submission. And they both seek new converts.
