Will Trump strike a deal or strike Iran’s nuclear sites? THE ROSENBERG REPORT is hearing mixed signals

“War – or a deal?” The pressing question on the table is making Israeli leaders “anxious,” according to ALL ISRAEL NEWS Editor-in-Chief Joel Rosenberg.

Are the United States and Israel preparing to launch massive military strikes against Iran in the near future? Or is U.S. President Donald Trump genuinely attempting to strike a diplomatic deal that would force Tehran to give up its nuclear ambitions, while leaving the Iranian regime intact?

“No American president has ever been tougher on Iran than Donald Trump, and no American president has ever been more pro-Israel than Donald Trump, but I need to be honest with you: President Trump is sending mixed signals,” Rosenberg said in the latest episode of his program, THE ROSENBERG REPORT, which airs weekly on TBN.

Rosenberg expressed his grave concern, citing similar sentiments from senior Israeli political figures.

As indirect nuclear talks between the United States and Iran got underway on Saturday in Oman, The Rosenberg Report has learned that some of President Trump’s close advisers are urging him not to rely solely on diplomacy.

As indirect nuclear talks between the United States and Iran got underway on Saturday in Oman, THE ROSENBERG REPORT has learned that some of President Trump’s confidants are urging him not to rely solely on diplomacy.

“Close friends and advisors to President Trump are urging him not to be taken in by liars and cheats that make up the Iranian regime,” Rosenberg noted. “Instead, they are urging Trump to expose the Iranian leadership for the evil regime that they are; to launch massive military strikes to utterly destroy the Iranian nuclear weapons program once and for all – and to do so by Memorial Day, or perhaps July 4th at the latest.”

“These American advisors – along with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and other senior Israeli officials – argue that the Iranian regime has never been so weak, its nuclear sites have never been so vulnerable, and yet the time to take decisive action is running out.”

These voices believe the time to act is now, before it’s too late. The clock is ticking, they warn.

Iran could soon reach “breakout capacity” and build fully operational nuclear bombs. Even worse, Iran might sign a NATO-like treaty with Russia or Communist China – or both – prompting Moscow and Beijing to respond against any attack on Iran.

That is the sentiment, for example, echoed by The Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD).

“The good news is that President Trump is listening,” Rosenberg argued.

“He’s sending B-52 bombers and other bombers and fighter jets to the Middle East. He’s just sent two U.S. aircraft carrier strike groups to the Middle East. He’s sending American missile defense batteries to the Middle East. Why? To get ready for war.”

Rosenberg believes Prime Minister Netanyahu was blindsided last week when President Trump announced alongside him in the Oval Office that his administration would engage in talks with Iran.

“Netanyahu is a smart guy – very experienced and cool under pressure – he’s not going to signal his deep anxieties over the U.S. opening direct talks with the Iranians,” Rosenberg said. “So, instead, Bibi signaled his strong support for the President’s approach.”

The only deal with Iran that Netanyahu signaled he would be willing to accept is one based on the ‘Libyan model’ of December 2003.

“And rightly so,” Rosenberg added.

The TBN host explained that Libya’s dictator, Moammar Qaddafi, became so paranoid that his country would be the next to be attacked by then-President George W. Bush that Qaddafi voluntarily offered to let the U.S. come into Libya and dismantle his nuclear weapons program.

“So, what exactly are we heading towards – a Trump deal with Tehran, or massive military strikes?” Rosenberg wondered.

While Trump has made it crystal clear that he is willing to bomb Iran, if necessary, he’s also expressed a willingness to be generous – if Iran agrees to a strong deal.

“I don’t think even President Trump knows – so pray for peace but prepare for war,” Rosenberg urged his viewers.
