Will Iran Destroy Israel? :: By Josh Davis

Andy C

Well-known
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6).

A glance around the globe reveals an escalation in hostilities. Israel remains in Iran’s crosshairs. Syria’s violent unrest leaves it divided, as Turkey seems poised to mold Syria into its image.

Israel’s attempts to eradicate Hamas continue. The terrorists’ demonic depravity was revealed when they recently returned the bodies of hostage children brutally murdered by their hands.

The war between Ukraine and Russia seems like a simmering pot almost ready to boil over into World War III as European allies promise more weapons to Ukraine and as tensions rise among many nations.

Records indicate that more than 100 armed conflicts are currently occurring around the world. Forty-five are in the Middle East and Northern Africa alone.

Iran’s Nuclear Capabilities Rising

A confidential report was leaked to the press, revealing that Iran is ramping up its nuclear capabilities. The U.N.-run International Atomic Energy Agency told its member nations that Iran’s enrichment has skyrocketed over recent months, according to a Feb. 26 Reuters report.

It is estimated that Iran now has enough enriched uranium for six nuclear bombs. It has enriched uranium up to 60 percent purity and could easily enrich it to the 90 percent needed for atomic weapons.

With this accelerated pace of uranium enrichment, it is estimated that Iran could make one nuclear bomb every four to six weeks. In short order, Iran could have more than a dozen atomic bombs.

“The significantly increased production and accumulation of highly enriched uranium by Iran, the only non-nuclear weapon state to produce such nuclear material, is of serious concern,” the IAEA stated in its confidential report.

This statement is revealing because the world knows Iran’s intentions. Publicly, Iran claims it is only enriching uranium for its internal nuclear power grid. The world knows better.

Short answer: Nope.

2 Sam. 7:24
From the OP

The question hangs in the air like thick smoke. Will Iran destroy Israel through its proxies and nuclear weapons?

Based on Bible prophecy, the answer is “No.” Zechariah 12-14 forms three of the most prophetically significant Old Testament chapters. Jerusalem is the epicenter of the Second Coming when Jesus fights the Armageddon Campaign. The surrounding nations will besiege Judah and Jerusalem (Zech. 12). But Jerusalem will prove to be a “cup of trembling” and a “burdensome stone” for the nations (Zech. 12:2-3). These metaphors speak to God’s divine judgment poured out upon His enemies at the Second Coming (Rev. 19). The nations try in vain to move a rock they cannot lift and to drink more than they can hold.

The USA has a moment here, to bless Israel or let her struggle to deal with Iran - a state that threatens the US as well as the world not just Israel.

God will get Israel thru but I'm already concerned about the meeting with Trump that he summoned Netanyahu to, to come immediately, out of a State visit to Hungary.

This is Israeli TV- this is their take on the meeting. It isn't going well from their point of view.

And I just started watching this from Olivier Melnick and John Haller discussing the same situation in a YT video that is supposed to be about Gog Magog - YouTube

Both of them had the same impression.

Trump took Netanyahu's gesture of dropping all tariffs and ignored a gift or gesture of anything in return. Instead of continuing plans to deal with the menace that is Iran, Trump appears to have decided to negotiate with Iran.

Netanyahu has to take whatever he is given and in JDVance's terms, express gratitude, which he did. On TV for all to see. Even though he's done everything Trump wanted. As for that 4 billion a year that America "gives" Israel, that is tied to weapons, jets and other armaments which Israel buys with that money, that benefits the arms dealers of America. And as we saw with Biden, it comes with strings attached, and it can be delayed or even disappear altogether just when Israel needs it most.

That deal is supposed to never be held up especially in time of war, but Biden did that. Proving that any agreement like that is worth the paper it's on. There were other parts to that deal that also restricted Israel's domestic production of jets, arms and other stuff if I recall correctly. If you don't do x we will supply you with weapons, as a grant, which will benefit our arms manufacturers. Something like that. I'm foggy on it right now.

I noticed that Trump brought that "gift" up pointedly, AND reminded Netanyahu that he should never have given up Gaza in the first place.

Yeah - Gaza was due to pressure from another Republican friend of Israel, President Bush Jr- and that resulted in Hurricane Katrina. Netanyahu didn't have a choice, then or now, and that was made abundantly clear in that meeting.

If Trump figures Israel is just another nation to squeeze in the art of a deal, he - and America are in great danger. Trump and his team need prayer.

I agree that if Trump betrays Israel we are in grave danger as a nation. I don’t suspect Paula White will give wise counsel either.
