The fifth anniversary of the January 6 protest at the U.S. Capitol has drawn very different responses from Democratic leaders and the Trump administration regarding what really happened that day and who is to blame.
The White House posted a new webpage that challenges the Democratic “insurrection” narrative by providing timelines, direct quotes and context regarding the Jan 6, 2021 protests that spiraled into violent clashes between Capitol police and some of the protestors.
The webpage states, “Thousands of Americans paid the price for political failures they did not create” and offers to provide “the real Jan. 6 story” that legacy media has so far refused to report.
