What will be the language of the Millennium Kingdom?

1LoverofGod

Well-known
Commentary from David Guzik of Enduring Word on
Zephaniah 3:9

“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, That they all may call on the name of the LORD, To serve Him with one accord"

b. That they all may call on the name of the LORD: In this ultimate restoration, God will give the world a common language again (a pure language), and the entire world will worship the LORD, not only Israel.

i. Most Bible scholars see this as fulfilled in the days of the Millennium, when Jesus reigns for 1,000 years over this earth after His return in power and glory. From this passage, many scholars believe that in that day the world will go back to a common language – perhaps Hebrew.

c. To serve Him with one accord: Literally, this is with one shoulder. The idea is that the shoulders are working together as one to bear the load of the work.

The language of love LOL.

Nah in all seriousness maybe Hebrew since that is what the Lord chose to identify as ?

Have we settled that question yet? Hebrew it is! It'll be great to all be speaking the same language, then we'll be able to understand what Eric, Spartan, Kaatje, and our resident Cajun are saying. That'll be good... and some of us will want to try and out spit everyone else then we're talking. *maisey*
Yes, Hebrew it is, and I for one will be so happy to be speaking the "Lashon Hakodesh" (Holy tongue).
Because now I find it too hard a language to learn, for my fickle brain. But then!

Btw, while we are all having talks, we'll set TT to making coffee. :coffeguzzle:And then we say: "Hebrew it".

Oh this guy's got jokes LOL !!!

I once dreamed I was standing on the hill of a very vast valley with millions of believers singing a worship
song together. It was a language I didn't know, but it was absolutely the most beautiful song I have ever heard............perhaps it was many languages all rising up to heaven. I don't know, but I would sure love to hear it again.
I've heard that the pure Hebrew language has a sound like that of a song 🥰
