There is something very liberating in living an.open life.

I'm 51, there's a young guy at work "likes Christian metal" and a musician himself. He was sitting in the break room on his lunch as I left.

It takes me a few minutes to load my handcart and strap it securely. I told him how much I like "Victory in Jesus". Metal version.

"Wait" I said, loaded my music app, got the song going, and handed it to him. He plugged in his headphones. I heard him exclaiming over my favorites "POD! Chainsaw!"

He seemed reluctant to give me back my phone.

I often weep listening to these songs in awe with how much God did for a wicked person like me. I used to be embarrassed tearing up in church during certain hymns but now I just let it rip. lol

I usually feel that way during Holy Communion

To think that Jesus left Heaven and went through all that suffering just for me, a poor, miserable sinner
