What is NAR.

Ronnie

This is the will of God, even your sanctification!
But the NAR has some interesting theology that runs alongside that belief. Only one of them is Dominionism, although it can be argued that it is one of the distinguishing characteristics [1]. Berean Research stated that ” Leading figures in this seemingly loosely organized movement claim that these prophets and apostles alone have the power and authority to execute God’s plans and purposes on earth. They believe they are laying the foundation for a global church, governed by them. They place a greater emphasis on dreams, visions and extra-biblical revelation than they do on the Bible, claiming that their revealed teachings and reported experiences (e.g. trips to heaven, face-to-face conversations with Jesus, visits by angels) can not be proven by the ‘old’ Scripture [1].”

Some of the NAR stuff may be leaking into prophecy TV shows. SkyWatch TV series had a guest that spend the whole show on near death experiences. Not taught in the Bible.
Skywatch tends to go that direction anyways. Along with Daystar and other Christian broadcasting. The NARpostles have a demonic unflinching pull towards media and spreading that infection the most effective way possible.

The first SkyWatch show that was kind of a red flag was the show where they had this long bearded guest who called himself "apostle." Even "Prophecy Watchers" show seems like they are going the wrong direction sometimes. CTN, Daystar, and TBN all have a mix of shows, some do present good doctrine, but many are bad doctrine. And some of the newer channels are wrong doctrine or cults, 3ABN seems to be all SDA and I avoid watching any of their shows. NRB seems Calvinistic, like John MacArthur. It takes being a Berean to find the truth. And EWTN is all RCC teachings.

Saw this timely article this morning about NAR. I didn’t realize that they are also part of “Kingdom Now” theology and the “Seven Mountain Mandate.” According to this teaching, believers—led by modern apostles—must take control of seven spheres of society:

1. Family
2. Religion
3. Economy
4. Government
5. Education
6. Media
7. Entertainment

Another noteworthy fact is that they have rewritten the Bible, their version “The Passion Translation.” It’s vital to know that God’s Word is perfect and that it is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow!

Both Old and New Testaments warn of adding to or taking away from God’s perfect Word and come with a warning about making this mistake:

“Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.” – Deuteronomy 4:2

“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.” – Revelation 22:18-19

We have a duty as believers, being very careful to remember that not everyone who teaches or”preaches” is aligned with God’s truth. NAR, Kingdom Now, the Seven Mountain Mandate and others that are filled with deceit, making a mockery of God’s Word to fit into their “truth” that lines their pockets and gives them their “15 minutes of fame” to their own peril, dragging those who buy into their lies with them.

It’s vital for believers to search the Scriptures against any teaching we hear so that we are reading the truth. When I’m studying and searching for a certain question, we all need to “be a Berean!” If the first step you take is by visiting their “About Us” link (if they don’t have one, personally I would leave and find “real wisdom” because, as we know, Satan lurks everywhere, trying to snatch us away. But if we’re strong in the Word, by reading it, studying it, having community like this forum with wise brothers and sisters in Christ and we surround ourselves with la local church of true believers along with placing heavy emphasis on prayer, we won’t fail!

Another step toward crislam/chrislam :furious:  :apost: :ban:

islam is both political and religious, and it mandates taking control of everything.

Another step toward crislam/chrislam :furious:  :apost: :ban:

islam is both political and religious, and it mandates taking control of everything.

Another person was sworn in yesterday using the Quran.

Virginia swore in Democrat state Sen. Ghazala Hashmi as its new lieutenant governor on Saturday, marking a historic moment as she placed her left hand on the Quran during her oath of office. Hashmi, a Muslim, is the first person of her faith to hold the position in the state’s history.

Video footage from the ceremony shows Hashmi being instructed to place her left hand on the Quran and raise her right hand as she took the oath. The symbolism of the moment drew national attention, particularly among conservatives and those concerned with the increasing influence of identity politics in state and national leadership.

Thankful to see that people still have the freedom to believe what they want to believe, and truth-in-advertising, so to speak.
Not happy to see islam is spreading, numbers and influence, and another vote/government official closer to imposition of sharia.
