What’s Next? :: By Daymond Duck

Well-known
As we approach 2026, it seems to me that something happens every day that appears to be related to Bible prophecy.

I often catch myself wondering what’s next.

Will 2026 bring:

  • The Rapture?
  • The Rise of the Ten Kings?
  • The Battle of Gog of Magog?
  • A digital ID in the U.S.
  • A covenant with many for seven years of peace in the Middle East.
  • The judgment of God on America over Pres. Trump’s efforts to appease Muslim intolerance of other religions by dividing Israel.
  • Democrats retaking the House and/Senate in the mid-term elections.
  • More wars and rumors of wars.
  • More frequent and intense natural disasters.
Very little surprises me anymore, and I believe we can expect almost anything.

God’s batting average is 100%.

Every jot and tittle of His Word must be fulfilled, and we are watching it play out on a daily basis.

Here are some recent events that seem to be related to Bible prophecy:

One, concerning an increase in the frequency and intensity of natural disasters at the end of the age (and possibly Pres. Trump’s efforts to appease the Muslims by dividing Israel): on Dec. 19, 2025, it was reported that:

  • A powerful windstorm with gusts reaching 144 mph (50-80 mph in lower elevations) battered parts of the Pacific Northwest and Rockies this week, leaving one dead, two injured, and hundreds of thousands without power.
  • The deep low-pressure system continues moving east toward the northern Plains and Midwest, sustaining severe winds and wildfire risks.
Two, concerning an increase in earthquakes at the end of the age: on Dec. 20, 2025, Prophecy News Watch (PNW) posted an article by Michael Snyder (Economic Collapse Blog) that said:

I have a question, and I hope it’s not confusing—are these 10-kings from one or more regions on the globe or are the countries all around the world assigned to only ten regions with 10-kings?
From the reading I've done good theologians are split on that. Might be the leaders of 10 regions such as the old Club of Rome stuff from 1950 to 1970 or so when the world was divvied up into 10 potential economic zones. That original map has been discarded, but the idea remains.

or

it could be the leaders of 10 of the nations surrounding Israel in some form of the fig tree and all the trees that Jesus mentioned because at the fall of the old Ottoman Empire in WW1- Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya/Tunisia which was ancient Carthage, Arabia and the 3 or 4 countries of Jordan - Moab, Ammon and Edom plus Gilead came back on the world stage followed by Gaza of the Philistines as an outpost of Egypt.

That fig tree was coming back to life. And all the trees with it. Her ancient enemies that had been swallowed up by the old Ottoman Empire, which was nothing more nor less than the last vestige of the actual Roman Empire. It had been conquered by Islam, but the same people remained.

and just lately a third theory:

the idea of multinational technocracies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, Blackrock, Palantir or that company of Elon Musk, can't remember the name. These are the multinationals that are bigger than actual countries, with extended financial impact and control.

The early church fathers- I think Irenaeus mentioned that he thought that Libya Egypt and one other I can't remember were the 3 kings that opposed the AC so he was of the mindset that it would be 10 kings from 10 surrounding nations that would make up the 10.

Thank you, lots of meat to chew on there
