Although Noah's Ark and the worldwide flood that wiped out all people except Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their three wives, is a great example of God rescuing His people before catastrophe, anymore I keep thinking about Sodom and Gomorrah. The sin and violence in the United States is terrible. I've heard it said that if God doesn't judge our nation, he'll owe Sodom and Gomorah an apology. Since there are still at least ten Christians here, it'd only be chastisement instead of destruction. Although, chastisement can still be painful and embarassing, and even forgiven sin can have temporally lingering or lasting consequences.
Until God takes the Christians away in the Rapture, there are at least ten people, to whom Jesus Christ's righteousness is imputed (Christians)
And if there is revival and The Lord tarries . . .
20 And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
