There has been a lot of advancement in using VR for Pain Management that I find fascinating. Does anyone have any experience w/ this?
Do you remember the movie ‘Tribulation’ that came out in 2000 where Satan used a virtual reality headset to meet 1:1 w/ people?

That is what this technology reminds me of. If it helps people manage their pain than I’m all for it, but it is creepy to look back 25 years to this movie and see how Satan use this headset to deceive people in this movie!

Chronic pain affects millions of people worldwide, significantly impacting their quality of life and causing physical, emotional, and social challenges. Unfortunately, many patients may not respond to existing conventional treatment options that we offer. Originally an invention for entertainment with immersive experience, Virtual Reality (VR) has slowly and progressively been used in clinical medicine, more so in pain management and rehabilitation.1. . . . . . . . . . .

Virtual Reality (VR) is a fascinating technology that allows the user to be transported into a synthetic world they perceive as real and in which they can move and interact. The impressive potential of VR goes far beyond entertainment. As it evolves rapidly and becomes more accessible, it will stand out as a highly prized technology of the future in many fields, including medicine.
