UN Security Council to Hold Emergency Meeting at Colombia’s Request with Russia and China’s Support – Maduro Also Expected in Court Monday

The United Nations Security Council plans to hold an emergency meeting at the request of Colombia, Russia, and China to discuss the United States’ operation in Venezuela, which ended in the capture of Nicolas Maduro.

Colombia reportedly requested the meeting, with support from Russia and China, the BBC reported.

“The attendees have not yet been confirmed, but may include the UN Secretary-General António Guterres,” per the BBC.

Russia and Iran have condemned the actions, with the Russian Foreign Ministry calling the strikes an "act of armed aggression against Venezuela." The Iranian Foreign Ministry also said, "The US military aggression against an independent state that is a member of the United Nations is a gross violation of regional and international peace and security, the consequences of which will affect the entire international system."

However, the international community overwhelmingly stands with the United States in taking out the brutal narco-state dictator.

...... The Colombian President is rightfully concerned... Since he could be next.
LOL that is exactly what I thought when I read this. He's next and he knows it. He also knows Russia and China and Iran didn't come to the aid of Maduro so he's hanging in the wind. Looking to the UN to slow the Trump roll thru the drug lords.

There really is only one world superpower right now. All the nukes in the world doesn't make a country a superpower as that only provides a solution on one level, whereas the USA can operate anywhere it chooses, and anytime without resorting to nukes. And Israel is definitely a regional superpower.
