U.S. Bombs Iran Joins Israel In War

Fox News: Fordow facility 'destroyed', 30 missiles fired at Natanz and Isfahan from submarines

Fox News reported that "Iran's nuclear aspirations are dead" after U.S. Air Force B-2 stealth bombers "completely destroyed" the Fordow nuclear facility using five to six bunker-buster bombs. The report also stated that the two additional nuclear sites in Natanz and Isfahan were attacked and destroyed with approximately 30 Tomahawk missiles fired from American submarines from a distance of about 400 miles.

Monitoring stations report unprecedented movement of Iranian launchers and missiles.

A significant Iranian response against the US and Israel could happen very soon
Khamenei: Americans are expected to suffer more severe damage and blows than those they have suffered in the past

Netanyahu in a statement in Hebrew to the people of Israel:

"Dear citizens of Israel, my brothers and sisters. In Operation 'Am Kalavi', (Rising Lion) we achieved unprecedented achievements together in the history of Israel. You remember that from the beginning of the operation, I promised you that Iran's nuclear facilities would be destroyed, one way or another. This promise was kept. A short time ago, in full coordination between me and President Trump, and in full operational coordination between the IDF and the United States military, the United States attacked Iran's three nuclear facilities: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. In doing so, the United States continued, with greater intensity and with great force, the attacks of the IDF and the Mossad on Iran's nuclear program. This program threatened our very existence and also endangered the peace of the entire world. Immediately after the operation was completed, President Trump called me. We had a very warm, very moving conversation. He congratulated me, he congratulated our army, and he congratulated our people. And I congratulated him, the United States pilots, and the American people. President Trump is leading the free world with strength. He is a great friend of Israel, a friend like no other. In my name and on behalf of all the citizens of Israel, on behalf of the entire Jewish people, I thank him from the bottom of my heart. And I know, citizens of Israel, that I speak from the bottom of the heart of each and every one of you. We stand together, we fight together, and with God's help - we win together. As the saying goes in this week's Torah, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30)

From what I understood President Trump saying, if there's retaliation against US military bases in the region our military will be back.
Trump: Any Iranian retaliation against the US will be met with much greater force than what we saw tonight

Trump: There will either be peace or tragedy for Iran; we have many targets left

“This cannot continue. There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days,” US President Donald Trump says in his address to the nation.

“Remember, there are many targets left,” Trump warns.
“Tonight’s was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill — most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes,” he continues.

Trump says no other military in the world could have pulled off the strike executed by the US tonight against Iran’s nuclear sites.

“I want to just thank everybody, and in particular, God. I want to just say we love you, God,” Trump adds.

Reports in the American media:

About 30 GBU-57 bombs were dropped on the nuclear facility in Fordow.

Let us recall that each such bomb weighs about 14 tons.

That is, 420 tons of explosives were dropped on the facility in Fordow.

When I first saw this on Telegram I thought there might be something wrong with the info. A B-2 can carry 2 MOPs. That means 14 B-2s would have been dedicates to Fodrow alone. The US has 19 B-2s, I think, but there probably aren't 14 at any given time that are mission ready.

Other sources indicate 5-6 MOPs were used for Fodrow and the other two sites hit got 30 tomahawks launched from submarines... I don't know if that's 30 each or 30 between them.

President Trump Sent Multiple Decoy Bombers Over the Pacific Ocean to Trick Iranians

The decoys stopped in Hawaii for a refuel, and people thought the planes were just too far away to be able to attack Iran today.

Meanwhile, three B-2 Bombers carrying 30,000-pound bunker busters flew east undetected and destroyed the Iranian nuclear plants.

Fox News host Sean Hannity said that 6 bunker busting bombs were dropped on the Fordow nuclear plant and the other plants were taken out with missiles from American submarines 400 miles away.

My unbelieving family is terrified and the media is saying that Trump was supposed to get permission from congress.

Presidential Actions Without Congressional Authorization

Throughout history, presidents have exercised their Commander in Chief powers to deploy military force without explicit congressional authorization, often citing the need to protect national interests and citizens.

Justifications for such actions include:

  1. Repelling sudden attacks: Early examples include President Jefferson’s actions during the First Barbary War.
  2. Protecting U.S. citizens abroad: President Ford’s response to the USS Mayaguez seizure in 1975 exemplifies this.
  3. Broader interpretations of executive authority: President Reagan’s intervention in Grenada (1983) and President Obama’s actions in Libya (2011) showcase evolving justifications.
These instances highlight the tension between legislative prudence and national security exigencies. They raise questions about the permissible scope of unilateral action and whether the current constitutional framework sufficiently delineates the separation of war powers.

"The constitution supposes, what the History of all Governments demonstrates, that the Executive is the branch of power most interested in war, and most prone to it. It has accordingly with studied care, vested the question of war in the Legislature."
– James Madison
