Yes, but in the meantime nothing is happening to solve the mess. Except that Iran is no doubt working hard to rearm and resupply. Let's just get this over with!
I heard someone a couple of days ago comment on the Iran issue, with regards to the repeated extensions on the Ceasefires and ongoing talks, and he was saying that he believes that Trump knows exactly what he's doing. He said Trump Knows Iran will never come to an agreement to the demands made that are agreeable between the US and Israel, and he knows that with every extension of Ceasefires and talks that Iran is using it to regroup and strengthen their military capabilities to do what it wants to do and no negotiations will change Iran's mind on this and that Trump knows this, but what many dont see going on behind the curtain of Trump's strategy, is while these ceasefires and talks are going nowhere, with Trump fully knowing that Iran is using these to buy more time to advance their plans, on the other hand Trump is Also using these extensions for the same thing, to buy time for the US military to be fully prepared and ready to Go When we strike Iran with a Final Severe blow in taking down the Regime and Finish the job once and for all.
He said in his comments that it takes time to organize a major military operation like that and the only way to do it without making it so obvious to Iran is to keep them thinking they are holding all the cards, while the US military is planning to win through preparedness and readiness, which takes time to begin the major strikes that will finish the job as quickly as possible to bring down the Regime without having to go back to do anymore military strikes than they have to.
He pointed out how while there are reports of ongoing talks, there are also reports of a growing US military presence in the Gulf Region with the latest being the USS Gerald Ford Aircraft Carrier as the third such deployment to be ready for what's coming to Iran.
What this commentator was saying seems to make sense. Trump isnt ignorant and knows what he's dealing with.

The extra firepower in the region will significantly bolster the US blockade of Iranian ports in the Strait of Hormuz — through which 20% of the world’s oil passes — and comes as President Trump threatened to resume bombing Iran if the regime doesn’t make a deal soon.
