Did I miss something? Latest I saw is Iran isn't going to Pakistan, Vance isn't either, and Ambassador Huckabee has been called back to Washington for consultations.

Iran seized two ships in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, tightening its grip on the strategic waterway after President Donald Trump called off attacks indefinitely with no sign of peace talks restarting.

Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency said the Revolutionary Guards had seized two vessels for maritime violations and escorted them to Iranian shores. It was the first time Iran has seized ships since the beginning of the war.

Earlier, a British maritime security agency reported three ships had come under fire.

“Kharg Island storage will be full and the fragile Iranian oil wells will be shut in,” Bessent says.
Kharg Island is considered the beating heart of Iran’s oil industry, through which 90% of its exports pass.
Yesterday I learned that Iran’s oil storage will fill up soon and they’ll be forced to cap their oil wells. Apparently, when oil wells are capped it permanently damages them. They can be reopened, but can’t produce as much.

Maybe that’s part of a strategy

Trump’s Iran pressure campaign is highly effective, Kudlow says

Former White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow said US pressure on Iran through what he described as a “Hormuz blockade” is Washington’s most powerful financial weapon and could force Tehran into submission.

“President Trump’s economic squeeze on Iran through the Hormuz blockade is the biggest and most powerful financial weapon,” Kudlow said on Wednesday on Fox. “We’ve never tried this before, and it might just bring Iran to their unconditional knees.”

US naval blockade of Iran remains effective - UANI

The US naval blockade against Iran, launched April 13 is working and disrupting the regime’s oil exports to China, according to United Against Nuclear Iran.

"At least 29 vessels have been turned around, with selective enforcement targeting high-value crude tankers proving effective through deterrence and higher evasion costs," the report said.

US intercepts Iran oil tankers in Asian waters as demining of Hormuz expected to take months

Maritime security source says US Navy is working to target Iranian ships away from the Mideast waterway due to threat of mines, which Pentagon predicts could take 6 months to clear

By Agencies

"The US military has intercepted at least three Iranian-flagged tankers in Asian waters and is redirecting them away from their positions near India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka, shipping and security sources said on Wednesday.
Washington has imposed a blockade on Iran’s trade by sea while Iran has fired on ships to prevent them sailing through the Strait of Hormuz waterway at the entrance to the Middle East Gulf. Nearly two months after the US and Israel launched joint strikes on Iran to begin the war, there is little sign of peace talks resuming during an uneasy ceasefire.
The closure of the strait has disrupted supply of a fifth of the world’s oil and gas supplies, and caused a global energy crisis. US forces have seized an Iranian cargo ship and an oil tanker in recent days. Iran said it had captured two container ships seeking to exit the Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday after firing on them and another vessel, its first seizures since the war began."
