Several agencies and Trump administration officials acknowledged the birth of Jesus Christ in several Christmas messages, which received criticism from people advocating for the separation of church and state.

Agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and officials like Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard shared Bible verses and acknowledged that, as people celebrated Christmas, they were celebrating “the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Those folks have an incorrect understanding about the long misunderstood "separation of church and state".

As I try and track varying sides of issues these days, I do see quite a bit of stuff like from the front stage watcher world (Billy Crone, Tom Hughes, even Prophecy Misfits and others). And along with all of those views tends to be a focus on how our current administration is nuts and bults building the beast system. THEN, lol, there is this side of the equation. Perhaps many might see Christmas gestures from our current admin as virtue signaling while a beast system is being built. But what i tend to be encouraged by is the God of general revelation being revealed through general revelation too. Like people in government who are actually believers or care at least as much about the Christmas message during Christmas time.

Thanks Hol for the post. I believe it has more significance in our day than might be generally considered. And I am grateful for at least tidbit views like this into how Christ is understood in a 21st century American administration. While the focus of the left, supposedly being about defending the right of the individual to express freedom of religion even if in government. In some ways I would see the message of the Christ via 21st century general revelation in The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe thematic rolling out ways--too even in our day. A Christian story unfolding rather robustly, amen. Nice to be able to see things like that even amidst all the other noise. Amen. And blessings.
