I love your username Athanasius CM ... Athanasius Contra Mundum ... Athanasius against the world. In other words, the courage to stand and act alone. Athanasius indeed stood largely alone defending the deity of Christ in his generation as many of the Church leaders of his day were abandoning orthodoxy for man-made ideas.

The great Athanasius of Alexandria is a great inspiration, and example, for us all who are called to be in but not of the world. When you asked me about a "handle", his name came immediately to mind. With the rising apostasy today, worse than the gnostics of old, we must all stand contra mundum. Amen brother.
