There is verifiable and tangible evidence that God's promises are unfolding before our eyes
One of the most damaging aspects of Replacement Theology is how the ancient biblical prophecy is viewed and understood today. Rather than practical and useful, when we replace Israel from the biblical context, prophecy becomes abstract, metaphorical and symbolic.
Yet if the rebirth of the nation of Israel has shown us anything in the last 75 years, it is that God meant exactly what He said in His many promises to the Jewish people. They are not poetic cerebral diatribes; they are God telling us what He is actually going to do on the earth with His covenant people.
One hundred years ago, an independent Jewish nation was a lofty ideal of those who read the prophets. Very few believed it could truly be a reality, with Jewish people literally returning from the four corners of the earth. Today, the thriving nation of Israel is in their homeland promised to Abraham and literally changing the world in almost every way possible.
Israel is showing us that the prophets’ words were practical, tangible and real. God meant what He said and is now demonstrating His faithfulness to His promises for all to see.
Much of the conversation today about prophecy is about the future, speculating about what may happen and being ready for it. While I’m not opposed to that, most don’t realize there are specific prophecies that have been lying dormant in their scriptures for over 2,700 years that are coming to pass right now with stunning accuracy. And there are a lot of them.
While we occasionally hear people announce: “Prophecies are being fulfilled!”, I often ask, “Which ones and how do we know?” Because we CAN know. Regional historical records, eyewitness accounts spanning two millennia and even old photos can provide a documented baseline to measure the many historical anomalies that have been happening with the nation of Israel, just as the prophets foretold.
There is verifiable and tangible evidence that His promises are unfolding just as He said for the first time since the prophets proclaimed them. One of them may involve you:
"In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, 'Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.'" – Zechariah 8:23
