The election is over -- what's next?

One of my favorite pastors, Pastor Allen Jackson of World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, discusses the election results and our pathway forward. Though the election season is over, our assignment is not finished. It’s time to thank God for His mercy and grace, and to look to Him for our next steps. Our nation continues to face many issues including abortion, the redefinition of marriage, gender confusion, and human trafficking. These all have a spiritual root, and they require a spiritual response from God's people. What do we do now?

Satan has deceived most Christians to believe we should not do or say anything that offends anyone and should always be loving. That may be true regarding our personal opinion but not regarding God's Word. God's Word should be offensive to sinners!!!

There is a saying of "What would Jesus do?" regarding how we should act which points to being kind and loving. Sure there is a place for that, but not regarding sin. Have we forgotten some of what Jesus did and said? Well let me remind you.

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

Matthew 23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Goodboy 😊

My late MIL watched Jackson everyday on TV. I would join her the mornings she was here and listen to Jackson.

The election is over, and Im very happy Trump won. Yes, there is still work to be done, and He is allowing this time for us to help bring in the fullness of the gentiles.

Let's say under a new Administration we see "better things", and a bit of "normalcy" again.
We need to remember that we are so close to Jesus coming and not get so comfortable that we "fall asleep".
Even if all appears to be "good", we need to not stop watching and being in expectation of Jesus return. We can't get caught up in a "better life" and let our guards down. All the more we need to keep up our guard and continue to keep on the complete armor of God, and be mindful that the devil roams about like a roaring lion seeking to devour someone.
Something could change at an instance.
The Globalists will not stop pushing their agenda.
The devil doesn't rest because he knows his time is short.
As we keep watch, we keep ourselves about The Father's Business, and remember that the converging signs Will continue to increase in frequency and intensity until The Coming of The Lord.
God's time clock doesn't stop because there's a "new sheriff in town".
It's what's happening with Israel that tells us God's Time clock is ticking and all eyes are on Israel, not just with believers but the world is keeping their eyes on Israel because the Zechariah 12 prophecy must come to pass that Jerusalem will be a cup of trembling to the nations.
So, we thank God for delivering us from probable Tyranny, and giving us a little extension of Freedom, and utilize that Freedom to continue our Great Commission, and we're thankful for the continued Freedom to worship, as we keep watchful for the Adversary's flaming darts and deceptions, and keep looking for the Blessed Hope of the appearing of our God and Savior Jesus (Titus 2:13) 🙏

Globalist New World Order Delayed? The Rebalancing Of Power As Trump Returns
The return of President Donald Trump to the White House in January 2025 has sparked waves of concern and strategic recalibrations among leaders of globalist organizations and the United Nations itself. Trump's anti-globalist stance, already well known from his first term, is expected to impact the direction of international relations, with U.N. leaders and globalist figureheads pondering how to navigate what could be a fundamental shift away from multinational cooperation and centralized global governance.

The U.N.'s Concerned Response
During Trump's initial term, the U.N. witnessed sharp cutbacks in U.S. funding and support. In 2018, Trump's administration withdrew over $25 million in U.S. funding, targeting programs like the U.N. Human Rights Council. for it's bias policies. The impending administration's re-engagement has prompted unease within the U.N., an organization largely reliant on U.S. support. Currently, American taxpayers contribute approximately a third of the U.N. budget, footing $18.1 billion in 2022--an increase from the $11.6 billion paid in 2020 under President Biden. Comparatively, Germany, one of the next highest contributors, pays around $6.8 billion, while Japan contributes roughly $2.7 billion.

Many conservatives argue that the U.N., designed in 1945 with noble aspirations to prevent world wars, has since evolved into an overly bureaucratic entity prone to inefficiency and globalist ideals. U.S. conservatives are particularly wary of the U.N.'s influence in American policy-making, seeing it as a potential threat to national sovereignty.

They argue that Trump's expected pressure on the U.N. to demonstrate "accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness" is long overdue. Hugh Dugan, a U.N. delegate under Trump, claims that the organization has been "sleepwalking" through the past few years, sidestepping accountability with limited U.S. scrutiny.

Globalists and Their Recalibrations

The response from international leaders extends beyond the U.N. Figures like the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Yuval Harari have expressed outright apprehension. In an interview just before the 2024 election, Harari called Trump's victory a "death blow" to the new global order. He warned that Trump's nationalism poses an existential threat to globalism and claimed that leaders pushing for nationalism often present a "false dichotomy" between patriotism and global cooperation. Harari's remarks underscore the ideological divide between globalist visions and the wave of nationalism sweeping across many Western countries.

As some of the nation is shocked (like 2016), if you look at a US voter map of 2024 by county...what you see is a red blanket with blue freckles. It will be interesting to see what Trump does when there is no "next term." Keeping in mind due diligence too, if he wants Vance to succeed down the road. I believe a most important aspect of a strong America is a super strong Israel--for our times. Seems this to be how God has intended it to look like. So I say that kind of tongue in cheeck. Because in the social media fanfare there has been concerns this past year with Zionist overreach in American free speech. Even in our Congress were concerns expressed in H.R. 6090 -- 11th Congress 2023/24. Some churches are concerned what slippery slope this may steep into concerning the church freedoms. But rather, I would look at it in a more poetic (rather than constitutional concern sense) sense. That issue of Israel seems to be in tandem with America (according to how God has seemingly so ordained). So to me its like a tattoo to wear.

Well I think America is in for some good times since the train wreck of 2020. And it is a beautiful thing to consider. In general I think what we do now is continue to pray, spread the gospel, and encourage that which is good for our neighbor in the temporal political sphere we have all been invited into. Personally, I would encourage those prone to have concerns with Israel in there eschatological role upcoming at some point lean more toward an Israeli focus to the extent God might lay it up on our hearts. Because I believe there will be opportunities likely opening up there possibly in the short term (for more receptivity to the gospel). Ironically I believe the most salient thing about a Trump win is a strong Israel. What I don't mean though, is a downplay at all for our American agenda. I am very hopeful for our country, amen, in the short term. And believe we will likely be met with good fortune (along with all the drama globalism will be about as they pout).

One thing I am going to do is pray for a friend of mine. I'd ask you guys for prayer too if you might in some restoration of a friendship with a brother of mine named Mark. Please consider this offering a very thin slice of life example of "what do we do now" related. As there have been Pastoral voices in the winds like Macarthur slating America as not coming back, well...its just that that is what is next in my perspective personally. So whatever God might put on our heart in potential light of that would be good for us all to pray about I reckon. I mention my friend because as I humbly see it (and could be mistaken but looks good so far in any event), Amerca might come back in spades in short order. In the event we might have this to look forward to in God's great grace and provision, I would say what I would like to see to be helpful for the church body in general is realizing the theological voices of America is done be check mated. That, I am actually really glad for -- if that might be the case. Because it tends to bring things back into the local average Joe church goer's conversationl level where the condescention of a holy God might become what it to be more about. Even as we have transitioned from Big Media spankings from individual social media pod cast blowouts (a world where the average person is the news now...not what news networks tend to make it out to be--at least as much). So that we might share in the awesome simplistic beauty of the lifeblood of the church brought to the lowly. And we can make the common shared between us great again. Blessings.

Reminds me of something Jesus said here in John 9:1-5 EMPHASIS IS MINE ON V 4

1 Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.

2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3 Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

4 I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.

5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

We are nearing the end of the church age, the Rapture is coming when the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit working thru the church to restrain evil) will be removed. We need to do what our Lord did, work while it is still day, because that night comes, when the Restrainer is removed, and the enemy is allowed his moment.

The last bits of daylight have been given to us. What we do with them is eternally important. Reach the lost. Grab as many stragglers as we can to go with us to Heaven's safety.

I expect things will go very much like his first term. He'll have to battle against the Deep State every step of the way. There will be lawsuits galore concerning everything he tries to do.

He can only do so much legally via executive action and without money earmarked... and frankly anyone governing via executive order opens the door to tyranny. We're supposed to be a nation of laws and executive orders are supposed to be instructions for the various players under the executive branch on how to exercise/enforce the laws of the land. Executive orders are not supposed to break new ground or otherwise be contrary to existing law.

Trump Has Made His Pick for the Department of Homeland Security

Rebecca has covered the flurry of cabinet nominations made by President-elect Donald Trump. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) as secretary of state has been met with some intense reactions, but Mr. Trump made another pick late last night: South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem was asked to lead the Department of Homeland Security

South Dakota will be losing a very good gov'ner if Kristi accepts.

I'm not exactly a fan of Rubio. But this article seems to be pretty balanced for its publication. In some ways it would seem Rubio for Sec of State might be viewed as the neo John Bolton move (with Rubio's past), and makes sense how he would look if he were a dinner recipe on immigration. As the artcle details Rubios stance on immigration (being Latino) was more interested in integrating than deportation. So it would be like putting a good cop/ bad cop altogether in one position for optics. Looking at it this way, and having had a sense about Trump over the years, I guess it is understandable why Rubio might be a choice.

PS -- I was hoping for Kristi as VP. But I understand the Vance angle. Blessings.

. . . . .

The buzz in Washington is growing: United States President-elect Donald Trump, reports suggest, is about to pick Florida Senator Marco Rubio as his secretary of state.

Rubio, who serves on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on Foreign Relations and is known for his hawkish approach to US foreign policy, would, if nominated and confirmed by the US Senate, be the first Latino to serve as the country’s top diplomat.

I don't know if Rubio will accept the position of Secretary of State, and I believe Kristi Noem likes being Governor of S.D. So she may not accept that either.

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
Genesis 18:32, KJV

It seems that God has answered prayers, honored precedent and pattern, and seen fit to spare us for the time being, as and how it suits His purposes.

What's next . . .

I think in all gratitude for God's great mercy, we should be praying, seeking The Lord, repenting, and being about The Lord's Work, being salt and light, and carrying out The Great Commission.

It should be noted, 2 Chronicles only specifies that God's people, who are called by His name need pray, seek after God, and repent. Christians are called after God's name (Christ), so I believe this applies to us. Whether or not we need apply sackcloth and fasting as the Ninevites did, I believe is a personal decision, given our freedom in Christ.

It would be truly awesome if Christians could put aside our differences for just one day and pray to The Lord in gratitude, for forgiveness, and for our country and our leaders. This Thanksgiving seems apropos.

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14, KJV

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

1 John 1:8-10, KJV

1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about.
11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
Psalm 32, KJV

1 And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying,
2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.
3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.
4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
8But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Jonah 2, KJV

I am chiefest of sinners, a poor, miserable sinner . . .
