I remember when my parents would get into conversations about the Republicans vs. the Democrats, because in the 50’s and 60’s (yep, I’m old
) the Democrats were the more conservative of the two. It wasn’t until the Civil Rights issues, gained steam which previously didn’t fall into a party viewpoint, instead it was a regional issue. Southern Democrats AND Republicans BOTH opposed the Civil Rights movement, while their northern counterparts began to support legislation for it. Today, not only have the Democrats gotten to be the most liberal party, but also the most liberal, Muslim supporting, conservative, and Christian and Israel hater’s. They confirm this daily but this has got to be a new low!
Yet another reminder of what the times we are living in - as Scripture confirms- the end of the Age of Grace. Even so, Lord Jesus come quickly!
