Source:As The Gateway Pundit reported, the vote on this Motion to Vacate was brought to the floor today by House Leadership. Members then took fifteen minutes to vote on a motion to Table Gaetz’s Motion to Vacate, which McCarthy and his backers lost by a vote of 208-218. The House then debated the Motion for one hour and proceeded to vote alphabetically by roll call.

The longer it takes them to elect a new speaker, the more time they'll be legislating in a manner that lends itself to the demise of our country.

Of course, no telling what we're going to end up with as speaker. Hopefully the RINOs and the small freedom Caucus can come to agreement on someone.

Apparently McCarthy isn't going to fight to get the seat back... so maybe the Republicans can agree on someone for the position.

The acting Speaker is Rep. Patrick McHenry, a good man. He has instructed Rep. Nancy Pelosi to vacate the Speakers Office and then it will be rekeyed.

She should have vacated immediately upon no longer being speaker.

Maybe they should put all the Reps' desks in a giant room like a gymnasium so more communication and less sneaking around and back-stabbing. Ditto the Senators.

And make them use the military medical and dental systems, live in barracks (large open bays, no private rooms, and gang showers), eat in a mess hall, double-time in formation to and from work, and navigate the horizontal ladder before being allowed into the mess hall.
