I'm hungry, can you help me? How can I get something to eat?
Policeman:
It just so happens, that we are aware of your needs, and have prepared for it. Just walk across the street, see there, the Salvation Army has setup a line for food. Just wait in line and you will receive all you need.
Homeless man:
How much does it cost?
Policeman:
It doesn’t cost anything, it’s FREE!
Homeless man:
What must I wear?
Policeman:
Whatever you like, it doesn’t matter.
Homeless man:
What must I do in return?
Policeman:
Nothing, I said it was FREE!
Homeless man:
In what manner must I wait in line? Should I sit, stand, squat. Should I be looking forward, sideways, backwards or straight ahead?
Policeman:
Look it’s simple. Just go across the street and wait in line. That’s it! Nothing else! There is no other requirement!
Homeless man:
I thought maybe you could help me, but since you won’t tell me what it is I need to do, I’ll have to ask someone else!
