Something is up in Moldova

which is right beside Ukraine, between Ukraine and Romania.

Russia has been meddling with their politics for a while, even more since the Ukraine war began in earnest.

Inside Russia's Konstantin reported yesterday of a weird shakeup in the upper levels of Russian politics. I sat up and paid attention when the KGB was brought up. A senior general in the KGB RESPONSIBLE for destabilizing Moldova (they don't say that, they call it in charge of establishing good relations with Moldova) got fired. I guess he wasn't doing a good enough job to please Putin.

So I looked around and Moldova is in the middle of an election AND trying to be part of the EU. The EU is fine with them joining. They are not members of NATO, but are on the council.

When the Ukrainian invasion began in Biden's term, just after his inauguration, (I think, I'm going on memory here) Moldova came up regularly as it looked like Russia wanted to gain control of Moldova in order to flank Ukraine from Russia on the east, and Moldova on the west while attacking the port of Odessa on the shores of the Black Sea to the south.

Why this has me paying attention is because of the sudden extra activity with Poland by Russian drones, the threats to the Baltics, particularly Lithuania who shares a border with Poland and they both border that little Russian enclave in between them.

It's another little puzzle piece showing up right after the big SCO meeting in Shanghai China.

This could signal a change in the direction of war in Ukraine with Russia becoming more of a direct threat to NATO allied countries, and EU allied countries.

They are thinking longer term than this war. Moldova was part of the USSR, it hasn't signed on with NATO for internal reasons and it's a key player for the future if Russia is to get back their old territory which is their long term goal (and why Poland was targeted plus Lithuania had those 4 deaths of NATO (American) troops on it's soil during that NATO training exercise.

I hope this works, I'm trying to insert a map of Moldova and the surrounding countries, because that is the best way to explain why little Moldova actually matters in this geopolitical chess match between Russia and NATO in Europe.

OK it worked, you can zoom it out for the wider view.

See how it borders Ukraine as a tiny inland pocket of a country split off from Romania.

See how Ukraine has Russia on the East, Moldova on it's west, the sea coast to it's south and Russia's puppet Belarus to the north.

Moldova isn't NATO (they foolishly inserted a clause in their constitution preventing that) but they are on the council.

Romania IS NATO so Moldova is the weak link for Russia to exploit.

Since Russia apparently can't conquer Ukraine I can't think of a benefit for them in expanding the war.
Russia is playing 3 dimensional chess while the rest of the world is playing checkers!

It works. Thanks, helps a bunch

That is often said about Russia but it appears to me they've been playing checkers when it comes to their Ukraine quagmire.
I figure that is direct evidence of the Restrainer restraining. It doesn't make sense otherwise. There is no good reason for Putin to hold back, except he has. It's not for lack of desire or weaponry. Nor is it due to any sensible actions countering him from NATO or the West.

Something interesting- he flew the Madonna of Kazan- a Russian icon (given back to Russia from the Vatican in 2004)

He flew it OVER the Ukraine. Back in 2014. He wanted Ukraine back.

Yes it's superstition, but it also brings up the fact that there are fallen angelic beings that have charge over certain territories. This female image is like an Ashtoreth. Possibly invoking that "female" "god" to help him out.

In 2014 around the same time as he flew this image he invaded Crimea- Feb 2014. This was during Obama's years (2009-2014).

I continue to think that this is an ongoing battle in the heavenlies, that has direct bearing on when Gog Magog pulls together and invades Israel in the Gog Magog invasion predicted in Ezek 38

I also think that war is being delayed while the threat of Russia is pulling Europe together into something resembling Rome 2.0.

And it's giving time for Israel to deal with her enemies so that she can be living in peace and security on the mountains of Israel.

All these things don't make sense unless they are viewed thru a lens of prophetic Bible scriptures.

Side note related to this Madonna of Kazan being flown around the Black Sea by Putin. This also was Putin "claiming" this territory, all of it bordering the Black Sea in the name of this Madonna of Kazan! That includes Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey are NATO. Georgia fell back to Russian control a while back even though they are technically independant. Ukraine is in the process. Gog is taking back Magog.

Remember the Bosnian war? That took place between the years of 1992 to 1995.

Something happened before that though- something evil. That was the appearance of "mary" in Medugorje a town in Bosnia in 1981.

Even the Catholic church had trouble certifying this Marian apparition because the messages were chaotic and didn't make sense. Even to them. Even now they struggle with it and have only recently allowed it as a pilgrim site but only because it is so popular with the people.

These "mary" images I think are connected to Ashtoreth,

Ashtoreth often called "The Queen of Heaven" which is coincidentally what Catholics call Mary. Mary is venerated in the Russian Orthodox church using icons, rather than statues, but in the same manner given a place that isn't scriptural.

It's interesting that these images and appearances of Mary are often connected to war or civil unrest.

In places where Christianity has been strong- such "gods" have zero power or strength.

Nor do they have any influence anywhere except as God allows- and I am going back to Daniel for that because the angel that came to Daniel battled to get thru and commented that he needed Michael's help. He also explained to Daniel that the Prince of Persia was the one resisting him and that the Prince of Greece was soon to come.

It all goes back to Babel

Ashtoreth is derived from Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod who built the tower of Babel. It's part of the Mother Son cult around the world, that is rooted in the story of Semiramis, Nimrod and their son.

The names change as the nations moved away from Babel. Semiramis became known as Ishtar (Babylon) Ashtoreth (Canaan) Astarte (Greek) Venus of Rome (both those goddesses are closely related to and swap places with Artemis (remember Artemis of the Ephesians) and Diana. Also associated with Ushas of the Hindus. The son was Tammuz and Dummuzid in Babylon and Caanan. Cupid of Rome, Osiris in Egypt and related to Vishnu in the Hindu pantheon.

What I found out recently is that "she" is also related to Cybele the god or goddess of Fortresses, another one who switches genders a bit in the Pantheon.

So whenever something that came out of Babel appears in connection to wars that seem to have connections to prophecy in the Bible and are definitely evil, it's worth a look.

Satan doing what he can to inspire his hordes to evil and destruction.

Whatever they think they can do leads only to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy and their own destruction.
