Sanhedrin Announces Ruling: All Jews Worldwide Must Come Home to Israel Immediately!

The nascent Sanhedrin in Jerusalem has made an official ruling, calling on Jews outside of Israel to come home.

“We are the beis din (rabbinic court) of Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), and we have poskened (officially ruled) that all Jews around the world have an obligation and chiyuv (religious requirement) right now to do whatever is in your power, to come to Eretz Yisrael (the land of Israel), and that is the mitzvah of Torah (Biblical requirement). And that is the mitzvah of today, especially because of what’s happening around the world and the dangers that all the Jews are in around the world. It’s necessary now more than ever to come to Eretz Yisrael, and we as a beis din have poskened that all the Jews have to come as soon as they can back to eretz Yisrael.”

The Sanhedrin’s ruling was intended for Jews worldwide, so it was recorded in English, Hebrew, Yiddish, French, and Spanish.

The Sanhedrin’s pronouncement was succinct, so Israel365 News interviewed Josh Wander, who has received smicha (ordination) from the Sanhedrin, to hear the details and implications of the rabbinic ruling.

the last bit here is especially heartbreaking and true:

"Jewish tradition teaches that when the Jews were exiled from Israel, the shechina (divine presence) also went into exile.

“But it is also taught that when the exile is over, the shechina will abandon the exile and return to Israel,” Wander said.

Wander cited a Jewish source titled the Meshech Chochma written by Rabbi Meir Simcha Ha-Kohen in Latvia in the early 20th century.

It was about a decade before Hitler took power,” Wander said. “The rabbi wrote that because the Jews are making their Berlin into their Jerusalem, God will have to bring a huge storm, which will wipe out Europe. The rabbi stated that God does not allow the Jews to feel too comfortable in the exile. We’ve seen in history over and over again that when the Jews get too comfortable in exile, God needs to shake things up in order to make them a little less comfortable.”

“This is what we are seeing worldwide right now,” Wander said. “God is making it uncomfortable for Jews so that they will come home to Israel.
"

Indeed He is. This is the time. The call went out from the late 1890s getting stronger and stronger till Hitler's genocide in WW2. The aftermath of that brought Israel into being as even more Jews came home. Now we see the same antisemitic horror rising again and it's important for the Jews everywhere to recognize why Israel exists, there is a God, He is calling them back to the land He gave them and it's time to leave all the places they've settled in since the diaspora began.

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest.
4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.
5 Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.
15 The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying,
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
Ezekiel 37, KJV

May be some stubborn ones in New York and Hollywood
As anti-Semitism continues to grow, for example in the public demonstrations in favour of Hamas, I think they'll all return to Israel. Some of the scenes that have been seen on streets in the UK, USA and Australia etc have been shockingly Anti-Semitic and the authorities have often ignored it. A sign of the times. God Bless :)

Once the Jewish people have left, the God/Bible-haters will turn their attention to the Christians.

Hopefully, :rapture: before that happens, but if The Lord tarries, faith in the West will be tested as it never has been before.

I have Jewish family (on my late husband's side) living in SoCal and the Chicago areas. I can't imagine any of them leaving there comforts to go to Israel....

That is why I think many will wait till stuff starts really busting loose in a bad way, after the Rapture.

If history tells us anything, far too many Jews waited thru the 1930s to leave. Anne Frank's family was one of those who did move, but from Germany to Holland thinking that they would be safe in Holland.

Once Hitler overran the continent, it was too late.

Leon Uris's book Exodus explains what happened in the 30's as the Jewish Israeli agents (it wasn't called Israel yet, it was under the Brits, and they were not helped by Britain shall we say) were trying to urge people to go, get to Israel and safety.

When people have roots it's hard to pick up and leave especially large extended family. Even when it makes sense. My late in laws were born in Russia just before the Revolution, and escaped with their parents to China, where they grew up, married, and had both my sister in law and husband before the Chinese Revolution made it necessary to flee China. Their extended family ended up all around the world from South America, Australia, Canada and the US via a Philippine refugee camp.

My mother in law's advice? Which I haven't taken, -is to always have a lb of gold that can be hidden on your body because that will be a down payment on a home or business where ever you land. She said you never know when you have to leave everything and run for your life.

Jonathan Tobin has a podcast. Yesterday he interviewed Elliot Abrams who runs the Tikvah Fund. They were reviewing the exit polls to evaluate how many Jews voted for Trump. They suggest that in America Jews are dwindling fast, largely due to intermarriage (close to 70%). Unless Jews embrace their religion and education they aren’t willing to identify as Jews.

Wow, such a strong family!
I'm using them to illustrate the mindset, the costs of picking up lives and moving to another safer country and starting all over again. It's not easy.

Especially if you finally found a safe haven as America has been over the past 250 or so years for the Jews.

America, Canada, and France have the largest populations of Jews living outside Israel. The population in America is approximately the same as Israel while Canada and France lag way behind.

I remember reading a population stat that showed the Jews in Israel finally outnumbered the Jews in America.

That is a good point.

A lot of Jews are secular- identifying as Jews ethnically while their religious views are a mixture. And a growing number are becoming Messianic which Jewish culture rejects as Jewish even though they've had to grudgingly admit that these are Jews. Thinking of the Joel Rosenberg case- he had to have an entire legal case drag itself out before he was allowed to make aliyah to Israel as a Messianic Jew.

If I were a Jewish person and concerned about an adverse outcome if someone knew, I probably wouldn't admit it to a stranger, including someone allegedly doing an exit poll :tap:

And these days, besides the pound of gold, I'd have multiple USB or microUSB with my administrative preparations (SEPARATE from my phone). A copy of that USB/microUSB on my person at all times, because, as @Margery noted up-thread, you never know when you're going to have to run, and you might not be able to go home or even to your car or bicycle first. Cellphones are stolen and damaged all the time, and at borders/during persecution, get seized and often not returned. And if returned, often wiped, selected apps removed, microUSB removed, new apps installed, new SIM installed, etc. Ukrainians fleeing to USSR when the invasion was imminent/after it started, had this happen.

I've kept a valid passport for myself and family members, but never gave consideration to what else I might need if I needed to flee the country.
That's why I never bothered with Mother's advice to accumulate a lb of gold. I am confident that God will take care of us. I do prepare for the likely emergencies to come my way. More on the lines of fires rather than floods, wind storms but not hurricanes and maybe an earthquake. That sort of thing.

For all that I have my trusty dusty carryon suitcase and I recently got my portable plastic file box by Pendaflex from Amazon and I'm in the process of re creating the grab and go fire season document kit. I always drive on the top half of the gas tank, never below and I keep a little stash of cash in case the bank machines are down.

I do however obey mother in law in the area of never sharing political affiliation. Keep the neighbours guessing, it's none of their business.

I'm now old and messed up enough that I probably wouldn't flee an advancing force or persecution. I probably wouldn't survive a forced march somewhere or a refugee camp, especially once I was out of medication.
If I can slow someone down long enough for someone else to flee, like a Pastor or someone, who has kids, etc., great.
OTOH, whatever God directs at the time, should it happen.

However, no-notice relocation in the event of fire, flood, tornado, etc. is always a possibility.

FWIW, I don't have a pound of gold

Given that any country you managed to run to would probably find and seize that pound of gold as "suspicious", I'd say that advice probably wouldn't help much, at least not nowadays when customs can see what's hidden using scanners.
