Russia behind plot to put incendiary devices on US and Canada-bound planes – WSJ

Two incendiary devices transported by DHL were part of a Russian plot to start fires on cargo or passenger planes headed to the US and Canada, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The current plot shows an escalation of previous suspected attacks in July when devices set fires at DHL logistics hubs in England and Germany.

Since the incidents in July, security officials have been searching to find the culprit and have now determined that Russia was behind the planting of incendiary devices, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The devices were electric massagers filled with a magnesium-based flammable substance, which would be difficult to extinguish if ignited on an airplane.

I'm leery of two things about this story: 1) the WSJ isn't credible, and 2) 'Russia did it' got old with me.

Still, it's alarming that devices are showing up that ignite fires.

It's been widely reported now but I share the problem believing "Russia did it" especially after the Nordstream pipeline ended up being America and not Russia. Maybe Russia is guilty- they certainly have been busy with computer hacking attacks. But that sort of attack is usually terrorists. Not Russia's style, more ISIS or other groups like that.

It's happening, someone is doing it, for reasons unknown. Law enforcement tracing it to Russia would be much more credible if they hadn't already been found in multiple lies over the past few years to shape the political landscape.

Yeah, I don't trust the US govmint at all these days. I hope a day comes when I can trust it again, but for now, if they say Russia did it, they've probably done it themselves for who knows what reason.

The WSJ used to be an incredibly good publication, but it's been a Deep State liberal Patsy for a long time now. So many good things have been completely ruined by the left.
