I thought I had posted about this yesterday but I guess I was wrong so I will do it now.
I ran across a bit of news that avian flu was spreading rapidly through the cattle and dairy industry animals. As such the article warned about a coming spike in milk prices. I am guessing beef will shoot up to if they slaughter but do not sell them. The point is that this is a foreshadowing of Rev 6:5-6 Rev 6:5-6 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
I have tried to explain to people that almost every thing we see spoken of in Revelation will some how come to pass as we get closer and closer to it. There will be a build up of the very things Revelation talks about to some degree or other. It is not like every thing will be hunky dory and then suddenly the switch is flipped and it all changes. Even Jesus warned us that the signs we now see in Revelation would build up over time like birth pains and that is what it seems to be even now.
I shared this info with some old friends from a long ago defunct forum. I had not connected the news on avian flu in the cattle and dairy industry but one of the lady's from back then pointed it out. I smacked my forehead thinking how could I have missed that. Well I did but now that I have seen it, it all makes sense. Food prices are going to continue to rise over all making it hard to make ends meet. So we started with a general inflation rise bring cost up on everything and now we are seeing specific foods being hit with big cost spikes, first eggs and now looking like milk. She said that back in her married and one child days when she was still working it was not so bad. But now she is alone her daughter grown up and living out of the country and her husband gone. All she has is disability and retirement. She calculated her cost for just milk, eggs, and bread for last month and it came out to over just $100 for those three items. That did not cover any meats or fresh produce. Even those items which used to be at least a little affordable are now shooting up as well.
Point being we are in this year getting that taste of Rev 6:5-6 so we have an idea of what folks in the Tribulation will be dealing with. I say this because I am a Pre-Tribber so since we are still all here what we are seeing is not the actual opening of the seal at this time just a fore warning that it is getting very close.
