The article goes into details of failure (pretty gross failure, it's hard not to wonder what exactly was being planned....or allowed) but I thought the conclusion was of particular interest.
Sounds like there was an earnest, looking for truth investigation by Rowe and I find it interesting the Senator quoted is Democrat....perhaps some realities hitting. One in leadership needs to confidently know they can work without fear of attack or death.
With that being said, I know there's most likely those in Secret Service working hard to do a good job (what a tough new reputation to combat)....I hope they are recognized and kept. I can't imagine how morale may have been affected in the midst of this situation and all other situations that's led up to this.
