US President Donald Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly for the first time in six years on Tuesday and called for the return of the remaining 20 hostages in Gaza.
The US president also slammed European countries that recognized a Palestinian state earlier this week.
“As if to encourage continued conflict, some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state. The rewards would be too great for Hamas terrorists for their atrocities," Trump stated.
Trump also slammed the United Nations as a construct, claiming that the UN just creates more problems than it solves.
