Quote of the Day

“Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind"

(C S Lewis)

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God."
1 Corinthians 2:9-10

"Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is."
1 John 3:2

(The Word of God)

The Bible says the Holy Spirit produces patience 👇
"But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!" Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

If you know you have all of eternity in front of you, it's much easier to be patient.

Several elements are required to sustain life. Among the top are food, water, air, and light.

In Scripture, Jesus is the source of each of these. He is the “bread of life” (John 6:48),
the supplier of “living water” (John 4:10),
and the One who fills every creature with the “breath of life” (Genesis 2:7; John 3:8; 20:22). John’s Gospel says, “In him was life, and the life was the light of men” (John 1:4, ESV).

When God Says “Wait”

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.” — Psalm 37:7 (ESV)

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is nothing. We want to fix it, rush it, or at least see progress. But God often works in silence—growing roots before fruit.

If you’re waiting, don’t assume He’s forgotten you. The delay might be His way of preparing something better than you asked for.

Trust the One who sees the whole road when you can only see the next step.

That is one of the best things I've ever read on waiting. Short, but to the point.

War is always ugly. We are in a war. The discouragements and trials you face are not evidence that you lack God's blessing but evidence that you are in a war, a war that requires FAITH and PATIENCE on the part of the saints. Stay on task. Stay on target. Stay in the battle. The time is short. The stakes are high. Eternity is coming.
