Quebec City officials have voted to remove a crucifix displayed in the city’s council chamber. The decision follows a recommendation to preserve the item in a heritage collection while reinforcing the principle of state “secularism.”
The crucifix will be relocated to Quebec City’s collection of ethno-historical artifacts, according to the CBC. The decision aligns with a provincial trend toward removing religious symbols from government spaces.
The council’s resolution comes after months of deliberation by an advisory commission on “inclusion,” which had concluded the crucifix was incompatible with a space meant to embody democratic and religious neutrality.
The commission, made up of elected officials, community members and the Wendat Nation chief, reportedly consulted legal and historical experts to support its conclusions.

Quebec is outwardly displaying the falling away from Christianity in favor of secularism, to be "inclusive".
This is not isolated to Quebec.
It is becoming a global pandemic of a hostile attitude towards God, and anything representing God.
But by nature, humans have the need to worship engraved in the heart, so as society moves away from worship of The Creator, it systematically shifts to making gods and idols of its own preference to worship in images of creation, money, people, self, and now programmable artificial intelligence is designed to be a god of choice.
The worship of false gods is an ancient practice that has always provoked God's wrath.
God is a jealous God Who requires worship to go solely to Him. Today, blasphemy and rejection of worship towards the True God has become a contagious mortal disease that has become normalized, and is part of the converging sign of the coming wrath of God coming upon the world and the return of Jesus.
We are witnessing the increasing acceptance of the rejection of the True God.
What this means for the Believer in these last days is that we are ever closer to the Harpazo we have long awaited, to meet Jesus in the air and be with Him forever, and then The Restrainer will release the holding back of full blown evil, followed by God's
Judgement coming upon the entire Earth.
