Peace deal

Eric, I send you a laughing face at your response to my post. However, in my heart I am crying because ANY truth about ANY thing is just not a reality anymore. How grieved our Father's heart must be to see how far humanity has slidden into the abyss. Surely, we have surpassed the sins of those who lived in the days of Noah and Lot
That's a hard one to know.

Is it a case of the days of Noah were worse than the present day or is it that we are actually worse and that it is the current age of grace and the restrainer that is stopping the same sort of judgements from happening now

He actually said the F-word
He's been into dropping bombs lately, but more worrying I thought was that he's apparently mad at Israel. Praying he keeps a clear head and acts rationally with wisdom from above.

I hope his being mad at Israel is an act for optics, but probably not. My impression is that he expects folks to be obedient to his wishes, no matter the cost. That's only an impression from what little I see on the interweb. His "deals" seem to be of the utmost of importance to him, whether or not they are good deals... just an impression, I can't pretend to know what's going on in our President's mind.

Well that didn't last long. Trump is furious, I guess his ego got stepped on. He really needs to 🤐 zip it when he's angry.
Well said, but not a real problem. Trump was just embarrassed. He should not have rushed to state that a peace deal was met and would hold. He should have just stated that a potential peace deal was made and given it time to hold. Actually neither Israel or Iran technically went against the peace deal, as it had not officially started yet. It just gave the appearance that neither Israel or Iran was serious about peace. It's like agreeing not to fight tomorrow then giving a sneaky punch after shaking hands. What Trump did in his anger is to tell Israel in no uncertain terms not to move on Iran without his approval.

So what we have learned is that neither Israel or Iran actually really wants peace. Iran wants to destroy Israel and Israel does not trust Iran. So really neither one is happy with a peace deal. So a peace deal may hold for a while, but will never hold for long without the Antichrist forcing both sides to honer it. Those are my thoughts anyway.

Some things have not made sense not only from what the media has reported but coming from posts Trump has made on Truth Social.

This is what I see.
The "peace deal" was done with Qatar as the mediator. Iran has insisted there was no peace agreement but has stated they would cease fire if Israel cease fired first.
On Israel's end. PM has instructed Israel to not comment about the peace agreement.
This poses the question, was there ever truly an agreement directly coming from Iran and Israel?
Or was this a deal made by proxy?
Trump on Truth Social said they "both came to me wanting a peace deal".
Neither side has confirmed this.
I wouldn't give Iran any benefit of doubt for anything they say, but for Israel to be silent on this peace deal makes me wonder if PM Netanyahu is just trying to hold on to US support as an ally when the rest of the world wont support Israel and he wont comment because if Israel didn't directly participate in this deal, I think they don't want to rub Trump the wrong way and lose their basically only Ally.
Israel staying silent on this peace deal only makes for speculations and everyone is supposed to just take Trump for his word.
Trump said Iran alerted the US that they were going to strike a US base in Qatar. It is reported a white house official said Trump told Iran to strike the particular base they hit because it was empty and did this to force the peace deal.
How do we know what is true?
For Trump to rebuke Israel with vulgar language over striking Iran is inappropriate when Iran violated that agreement first.
Iran killed four people in that violation.
Israel had to respond.
A lot doesn't make sense. Satan likes to stir up trouble with confusion and cause misunderstanding. But staying in God's Word keeps us in discernment and trusting God.
I just know that God knows everything. He knows the end from the beginning.
God is going to allow things to happen as they do whether it makes sense to us or not and we aren't going like the way everything plays out, but what God has said in His Prophetic Word is reliable and stands unchangeable and thanks to being given The Word of God we have a look into how everything ends for Israel and for believers and it all ends Good.

As of now, both sides are holding to the truce. Who knows for how long. Iran can’t withstand much more so other than hatred for the Jews, I can’t understand why they would want what’s left of their military utterly destroyed.

Trump was fired up this morning about both sides seemingly taking last minutes shots, past the agreed upon time.

For me, I like seeing the President fired up. This would not be a time for Iran to press him.

Public statements by “high ranking sources from Iran”, probably has little to do with the reality of a deal.
