Palantir Co-founder Peter Thiel Discusses The Antichrist and Transhumanism in Latest Interview (VIDEO)

Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel recently met with New York Times columnist Ross Douthat to discuss many topics, including innovation, life extension technology, the antichrist, and transhumanism.

The topic of transhumanism was brought up when Douthat asked Thiel, “Should the human race survive?”
Thiel responded, “Yes. But I also would like us to radically solve these problems. And so it’s always, I don’t know, yeah — transhumanism.”
The co-founder of Palantir added, “The ideal was this radical transformation where your human, natural body gets transformed into an immortal body.”

Essentially, transhumanists welcome an era where humans merge with machines.

Later in the interview, Thiel and Douthat discuss the antichrist.
Thiel shared that “The way the Antichrist would take over the world is you talk about Armageddon nonstop. You talk about existential risk nonstop, and this is what you need to regulate.”

I have questions....
If he calls himself a Christian, and acknowledges that AI technology would lead to Antichrist, why is he developing and promoting AI technology, and what is his purpose to have lectures for tech elites on the connection between Antichrist and AI technology, and yet he continues to develop and use the very tools in AI technology that he says will be used by Antichrist?

Well he may call himself Christian, he may think of himself that way but from what I read he has a lot of different beliefs, not all of which are Christian. He grew up in an evangelical home, but he embraced Catholicism along the way in addition to evangelical beliefs. And then there are the things he thinks are good, like transhumanism and changing humanity into something else, something eventually immortal. In a nutshell, he's a bit of a nut.

God alone knows for sure if he's saved. I'm not making any kind of a joke about that.

Like a lot of people who call themselves christian these days, he seems to twist the Bible a LOT to create his own philosophy.

The AC he sees as a force of evil, not a person and he has this idea that the tools that he Peter Thiel is developing could be used for good to stop this force of evil or by the forces of evil.

He sees Revelation, the Tribulation as optional. He sees the restraining force as a force not a person, and one that exists in government especially right wing govt of the US and that if he helps that side along, that the Tribulation and the AC won't happen.

I'm not sure - that is what I gather from looking at a few of his recent interviews and articles written about him.

I can't make head nor tail of the guy either.

He's got a lot of intellectual pride, and figuring he can develop the tools then put them into the right hands, he can stop the force of evil that he thinks is the antichrist.

He seems to down grade the Holy Spirit's action thru the church as the restraint of evil that govt holds, (that is popular in Amillennial theology) and at the same time elevate himself as one who can invent the means for mankind to transform itself into something new and different.

He's almost like he thinks he can be Captain America but the one with all the brains that does a Superman trick to prevent the evil foretold in Revelation. Which means he's thinking he can prevent God's promises and prophecies.

Which makes me think he isn't saved. But God knows the heart. Maybe his heart is saved but his head is missing a few screws.

If he's not saved, and he sticks around for the Trib, boy is he in for a shock!
