'Our opposition to a Palestinian state has not changed': Netanyahu opens gov't meeting

Almost Heaven

Well-known
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opened a government meeting on Sunday following the US UNSC second draft proposal to be voted on later this week, stating that Israel fully intends to demilitarize Gaza, whether or not it does so "the easy way or the hard way."

"Our opposition to a Palestinian state in any territory has not changed. Gaza will be demobilized and Hamas will be disarmed, the easy way or the hard way." I don't need reinforcements and tweets and lectures from anyone," the Israeli Prime Minister stated.

Netanyahu also addressed the upcoming legislative elections in Israel. He criticized various ministers for ongoing 'tweet attacks,' reminding them that it is his responsibility to deal with the issues of national security in coordination with the government.

He has a funny way of backing up his words when he let's Trump stop him from eradicating the 200 Hamas terrorists trapped in one of their tunnels. And to stop Israel from defeating Hamas when they had them encircled. And stopped them from bringing about regime change in Iran when they had them on the run.
It's actually the other way around. We had a lot of threads as these things happened, with news sources linked in.

Hamas tunnels: Israel was worried about the hostages being held in the tunnels.

Hamas: As things progressed Biden and later Trump would hold Israel back or force them to retreat temporarily while peace negotiations took place. Whenever Hamas wanted a breather, they'd dangle the peace carrot in front of each president. As soon as they could re arm, they broke any deals.

Iran: Trump didn't want Israel to bomb Iran. Finally Israel was going to go anyway, Trump was annoyed but went in with the bunker busters and dealt with stuff, but then said it was over stopping Israel from mop up operations. Sadly Iran is already rebuilding. And the bunker busters weren't quite as effective as originally thought. But Israel can't go in alone again, as they are still fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon, and trying to rebuild after the attacks from Gaza.

Qatar: Trump held back, and even took Qatar's side when Israel tried to eliminate terrorists within Qatar. Israel let Washington know, and Trump ordered his people to contact Qatar. In a weird "coincidence" the Qataris didn't pick up the phone until after the attack began.

After that Trump made a NATO style defence pact with Qatar to come to their aide if they are ever attacked again (the implication being that Qatar matters more than Israel.)

Lebanon: Trump's deal there forced Israel out of southern Lebanon, and put French peacekeepers back int he area to keep the peace and ensure Hezbollah didn't return. That was partially due to his daughter Tiffany's father in law on the team, as a local Lebanese man with connections in the area. Didn't work, the French are useless, and Hezbollah is back, Israel has had to go in and bomb the areas it formerly held.

Wowee. I would put the popcorn emoji here but this is too serious for popcorn. Oh what the heck :popcornbag:
