Open Letter to Donald Trump

** This is a Newsletter emailed to me from Brandon Holthaus Tip of The Spear ministry about an Open Letter to President Trump that was co-written by Michelle Bauchman and Bill Koenig**

Recently, Michele Bachmann and Bill Koenig wrote an impassioned open letter addressed to President Trump considering the renewed peace framework currently under discussion, particularly proposals resembling the earlier “Peace to Prosperity” plan. I was one of the signatories of the letter, and I wanted to share why Trump needs to change his course of direction regarding Israel and the Middle East to align with a more biblical foreign policy.

Trump and his advisors are treating these Islamic countries as a simple financial transaction and business deal instead of taking them seriously for their true political ideology toward Israel, which is wrapped in the veneer of so-called religion. We have watched this “peace through prosperity” model unfold before, not only with American interests in the Middle East but also in Israel’s policies with the Palestinians, who barbarically attacked on October 7 despite the economic prosperity Israel was offering them.

It is clear that the unbiblical Abraham Accords, while presented as a diplomatic triumph, ultimately undermine the God-ordained unilateral and unconditional Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 12:3, 7; 13:14-17; 15:1-21; 17:1-21; 22:15-18; 26:2-5; 28:13-15; 49) and the Land Covenant (Genesis 12:1, 7; 13:14-15, 17; 15:17-21; 17:8; Deuteronomy 29:1–30:20; Ezekiel 16). Both await final fulfillment in the Messianic Kingdom. Scripture is absolutely clear that the land belongs to Israel alone as an everlasting possession, and no political maneuvering can override God’s decree or divide it. Woe unto those who do.

The renewed push for the Abraham Accords would halt Israel’s sovereignty over 132 Jewish communities. Israel would be pressured to withdraw from certain areas of Judea and Samaria or stop building settlements there, even though Israel’s presence in these areas is lawful under international law.

When leaders, even well-intentioned ones like Trump, attempt to divide or negotiate away covenant land, they set themselves on a collision course with the God of Israel. As Bill Koenig documented in his book “Eye to Eye,” every time U.S. presidents have pressured Israel to trade land for peace, severe consequences have followed for America because of the cursing aspect of the Abrahamic Covenant. We cannot ignore this pattern.

The push for the Abraham Accords, along with a two-state solution and normalization deals, may look like progress to the world, but spiritually it opens the door to the cursing aspect of the Abrahamic Covenant on our country.

These deals involve agreements with Islamic leaders who practice deception to advance Islam. Taqiyya refers to saying something that is not true regarding Muslim identity, and its Sunni counterpart is muda'rat. Tawriya involves intentionally creating a false impression by saying something technically true but misleading. Kitman means lying by omission. Muruna is blending in by setting aside certain practices temporarily to advance the broader agenda. Hudna refers to a so-called ceasefire used as a strategy to regroup and attack later when stronger.

This is exactly what the Ayatollah in Iran is doing now and has openly stated recently. Since jihad is considered unending and since Israel is not going anywhere, there will be no end to this satanically inspired struggle against Israel. The only thing Islamists want is the destruction of Israel and the West, and they only understand power. There is no solution for Islamists who see the world through the lens of jihad. Initiatives, proposals, and international conferences are all efforts in futility.

For Islamists, all other religions and all non-Muslim people are considered inferior, ignorant, and subject to conquest. Israel is viewed as the vanguard of the West. Diplomats may propose carrot-and-stick strategies, offering financial and political incentives to dismantle this culture of violence, but these efforts will end in failure. In the end, Islamists are not going to change. It is a pipe dream, and people need to take that seriously and adjust their policies accordingly.

America’s and Israel’s compromises to hostile enemies who chant “Death to America” and “Death to Israel” must be recognized for what they are. The hostile agendas have not gone away. Islamic expansion and deeper infiltration into American politics and society are on the move. I wish people advising Trump would alert him to this reality, but we cannot expect much from Trump’s spiritual advisor Paula White. While she supports Israel, she is tainted by prosperity gospel teachings and overlaps with Kingdom Now theology, which muddies her view on Israel.

Furthermore, Trump’s spiritual background does not allow him to see Israel from a biblical standpoint. He attended Norman Vincent Peale’s church for some time, and Peale is best known for his book The Power of Positive Thinking. Peale taught that faith in oneself and a positive mental attitude are central keys to success and reaching one’s potential. Peale was generally supportive of Israel’s right to exist; however, he did not emphasize Israel as part of a prophetic scenario or covenantal promises God made to Israel.

There is no doubt that Trump sees Israel as a very close ally, but he does not see Israel from a biblical standpoint. And this is the problem, because if he did, he would not propose a two-state solution with the Palestinians, a ceasefire with Iran (a regime that needs to be ended), or the renewal of Abrahamic Accords with countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Syria, and Turkey, who should not be trusted.

Today’s political rhetoric around interfaith unity also cannot be dismissed lightly. Equating Christianity, Islam, and Judaism as equal pathways under the same “Abrahamic umbrella” undermines the gospel, confuses believers, and paves the way for further deception. We are watching a strategic setup, not just in Israel but here at home, that is gradually reshaping our nation’s spiritual and cultural landscape, turning a blind eye to Islamists and allowing antisemitism to continue rising and spilling into the streets of America. The consequences of these decisions will be monumental, not just geopolitically but spiritually.

The church and most Christians are not helping the situation either. Many are either outright hostile to Israel, apathetic, ignorant, or simply choose to ignore what is happening in the world. It is heartbreaking to see leaders, churches, and pastors find themselves on the wrong side of prophetic history. But really, nothing has changed. The majority missed the first coming of the Messiah, even as He stood right in front of them. Only the remnant recognized Him then, and the remnant always knows. Today is no different. We are in the last days, the birth pangs have started, and Israel is back in the land, which means we are close to the Rapture of the Church. Yet most people are completely checked out of this reality. It is also perplexing to see those who once seemed strong on Israel now falter under the demonic spirit of the age.

The remnant, however, continues to hold fast to Scripture and stand firm. Continue to stand strong the Lord and the power of His might and speak the truth to those around you. Pray for President Trump, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and especially for the remnant in America and Israel to stay vigilant and faithful. Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.

Am Yisrael Chai!

considering the renewed peace framework currently under discussion, particularly proposals resembling the earlier “Peace to Prosperity” plan
In case anyone is fuzzy on what plan that was, it was the one that came out in Jan of 2020 the day before Covid began to really hit America. I remember it, I remember the way it parcelled out the "mountains of Israel" aka Judea and Samaria. I remember how it divided the land and gave parts of Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians.

The Arab world was horrified because it also meant that certain areas were given to Israel without any further claims from the Palis. AND it had some kind of clause that if the Palestinians wouldn't stop their terrorist attacks, they would permanently lose some of the land that had been parcelled out to them. They had to maintain the peace or risk losing what they'd gained.

So that was when Jared Kushner's friends in the Arab world cooked up the Abraham Accords. If Trump had won his second term on schedule, the Saudi's were prepared to sign onto that.

The AA was a REPLACEMENT to avoid giving Israel any permanent unrevocable rights in the land. So they waved it at Trump and suddenly the Peace and Prosperity plan went away and everything became all about the AA which didn't involve land at all.

The Abe Acc didn't give any land to anyone. But it did specify that the Arab nations who signed on would normalize diplomatic and trade relations with Israel -and be compensated with various incentives- one group had their Terrorist Designation lifted etc.

What fascinates me is the rumours NOW are that the Abe Accords are going to include land in there. Hopefully it won't be more "land for peace" but realistically even though everyone said it wasn't a 2 State Solution with the Peace to Prosperity plan, it was. Just different bits carved out for the Arabs.

If that is the old Peace to Prosperity deal that got shelved, now being resurrected and added to the Abraham Accords, I'm wondering what God will allow this time.

Last time it was Covid! We all know how that went.

This is serious stuff.

This is an everlasting covenant given by God!!!

THAT is exactly what was wrong with the Peace to Prosperity plan that Trump brought out in Jan of 2020 just before Covid hit full force. By March, about 6 weeks later we were all in lockdowns all over the world.

The interlopers who stole Jewish property and invaded that land in 1948, were not kicked back out in 1967. They still have no rights to that land. It was Israel, the 2 State solution back then had carved JORDAN out for the Arabs, but they didn't stay on their side (the East Bank) of the Jordan River.

100%

This is already a done deal elsewhere- I think it's part of the package that God allows that when a nation accepts the Islamic world view of Israel --which the rest of the nations did- and now everywhere that a nation has not stood for Israel's right to exist they have a muslim problem.

It started after 911 in America when Bush Jr praised the muslims and protected them instead of looking hard at what they were doing. Obama then said that they were part of the foundations of America and equal to Christianity. I remember in those years see something say nothing became a thing, because it was legally precarious to point the finger at Islam. It was strange how Islam brought 911 to America, but the days that followed the govt made sure nobody connected it to Islam!

Phillip Haney- A Homeland Security Officer wrote a book with that title explaining the problem. He had another book due to come out that was suppressed because he died suddenly of "suicide" despite warning friends including Jan Markell that if he showed up dead, it would NOT be a suicide. The California Highway Patrol I think it was found him in his car, dead from a gunshot wound that was suspicious on many points, but remains a "suicide".

He was a Christian, with the Lord. His book that was supposed to come out was going to connect the dots between Islamic terrorism (like the Muslim Brotherhood's connections to Hilary Clinton via Huma Abedin) to the State Dept and the US govt. Deep State was terrified.

So Phil Haney, a TRUE AMERICAN HERO DIED!

I haven't forgotten Phil Haney or his sacrifice!

He died because of the long war that Islam is waging against the West but primarily against Israel. He died because 911 was glossed over as being a few Muslim extremists that didn't speak for all Islam. Despite historical evidence that this WAS Islam, despite evidence that modern Muslims came out and celebrated as the towers fell. Bush began this propaganda, and Obama did even more for Islam.

And Phil Haney died on American Soil as part of the Islamic war on America.

I'm only partially caffeinated this morning, so bear with me. We know from Joel 3:2 that the Land is going to be divided at some point. I reckon God spared Trump in Butler that day, and now has him as POTUS, and is using him and his free will to accomplish His plans, just as He used those who came before. Trump has both blessed Israel, and helped further deals with the Arabs. Transactional, partially seeing, partially blind. I hope he listens to advisors like Huckabee and Koenig. Meanwhile the Enemy keeps trying to get rid of Israel, but it won't work, they'll always be a nation before God.

A lot of it goes over my head, but the big picture even I can grasp is that the conditions for the big wrap up are coming into view. Like turning the dials on an optic where the vision goes from blurry to sharp. It's going to get messy, many saved and many lost, but eventually Israel will recognize the One they pierced, and call out to Him. Jesus is going to land back on the Mt. of Olives and everything will be put right. Israel will be in faith, and there will finally be real peace for Jerusalem.

I likened it before to a judo match. The left pushed and tugged so hard with all the aberrant viewpoints and relative truth, and the right pushed back and resisted, finding balance and energy from the ground; it appears the left is being thrown to the mat, but in the wake of this will not one appear, a referee of sorts, bearing a false olive branch of peace?

Maranatha!

Exactly - as Jan Markell says “What did you expect the last days to look like?”
