I understand what you're saying. But, as a Christian I am not surprised. And as a Christian I do look for the city of God. And as a Christian, I am not disheartened. And as a Christian I seek to walk in the light, though I fail most of the time. But He does not fail.
I certainly believe all is under God's control, but we are involved in a serious spiritual warfare. A spiritual warfare that is played out in the physical world. A spiritual warfare that will result in physical victory in the end. (Rev. 11:15) "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Chirst; and he shall reign for ever and ever."
I'm not sure why I shouldn't curse the darkness. Why shouldn't I have the same opinon of the darkness as God? Why shouldn't I hate the things God hates? Why shouldn't I contend with those in this physical world who are motivated and empowered by Satanic spiritual forces, though they don't even know it?
I believe you feel the same...else why would you begin this thread? I doubt you began it just to impart some informative news. In other words, forget all I have said. And I could have responded to your opening post with the last line of your post #(3). "I invite you to maximize the light and minimize the darkness, because the darkness is under God's control, not ours."
