President Trump is talking about the assassination attempt against his life. He said he will only speak about it once because it's too painful. Could be PTSD. I've seen that before for sure. It's awful. It's not a thing you sit and rehash time and again. The squeeze around your neck is too real.

Edit: Trump said he felt very safe when he was downed and bleeding because he had God on his side.

Edit: I'd wager he thought he had a mortal wound, especially being downed and seeing blood. There's been interesting studies of wounds and the subject feels generally okay, but when they are shown blood with the wound, they start panicking and almost act like they are dying. Hemophobia, among other factors, even if not previously known. Quite interesting.
