The first images from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory showed off a breathtaking preview of its capabilities — capturing millions of stars and galaxies light-years from Earth, along with thousands of never-before-seen asteroids.

The observatory — perched atop Cerro Pachón in the Chilean Andes Mountains — will train its high-powered 27.5-foot Simonyi Survey Telescope at the night sky over the next decade to give astronomers an unprecedented look at the cosmos.

God is amazing! He hung each star, each galaxy into place, setting them into their paths, determining their lifespans.

These pictures are awe-inspiring. How awesome is the Lord God Almighty! Yet He cares for each one of us, right down to the tiniest aspects of our individual lives; and He wants us to live with Him and enjoy His actual presence forever. Truly amazing!!! \o/\o/\o/

I am hopefully imagining that when we get to heaven with our new bodies, we will be able to see all this wonder with our naked eyes.
And, perhaps even travel to visit these awesome creations of God.
