And they generate huge amounts of greenhouse gases, particularly methane, and if they don't have a closed loop system, they discharge massive amounts of heated, polluted water into the local environment.

This is terrible for the environment: air, water, plants, crops, animals, food, PEOPLE . . .

Where are the environmentalist whackos and eco-terrorists when you need them?

Maybe someone needs to find a spotted thus-and-such or striped so-and-so or that's endangered because of the data centers . . .

Better if it, or its young, is really cute (you know, for raising awareness, empathy, and MONEY . . .

I'm not familiar with this situation, but I can tell you that many family farms are just not for sale regardless of the price. Land handed down for generations becomes an almost unbreakable pact for many. To sell out when others have suffered and struggled to make sure you have your opportunity to do the same for your children is out of the question.

So what exactly in fact do we know these tech giants data centers collect? There are many of them all over the world. I suppose there's many more from the past 3 or so decades too, but these seem creepy. Regardless, any electronic purchase results in going on a list that then gets sold. Not good.

I would wonder at the scope of operation of a data center. That's such a broad term but,what does it entail?

I wouldn't sell either. A company is going to pay millions for your land but they're afraid to tell you who the money is coming from?

I hope the family has their property taxes and sewer,water,etc... taxes paid up. That can be one way for the company to get the land through a back door.

I also hope there's a reported update.

Anyone else astonished at their electric bill this season?


Our bill for usage is a little over $100 less than the "delivery charge". I guess they figured if they made them equal that would look bad.

Everything we need to survive is going sky high in cost. While our wages or salaries aren't commensurate.

Something's coming. Too many prophetic pieces are falling into place.

And that's the thing about written prophecies. Those of a mind can take the steps to make things occur. And with the intention of seemingly wanting to hurry things up.
Or, to manipulate people to thinking the end is immanent. And then take advantage.
