Kushner: Israel must improve life for the Palestinians if it wants to be ‘integrated’ into region

Israel must start aiding the Palestinians and helping to improve their quality of life if it wants to become fully integrated into the Middle East, says Jared Kushner, US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and adviser, in an interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes.

Regarding Kushner’s vision for the Palestinian people, and what he believes allowing them to “thrive” looks like, he says that the US is “focused on creating a situation for joint security and economic opportunity for Israelis and Palestinians so that they can live side by side in a durable way.”

“What you end up calling it over time, we’ll allow the Palestinians to determine that themselves,” he says, in answer to a question about a path to Palestinian statehood.

he starts talking about Israel, Kushner and Witkoff at around the 1 hour mark.

His points include the fact that just such efforts have been part of every failed "peace plan" going back to Jimmy Carter's era.

He makes the point that when Gaza was removed from Israel under pressure by George Bush Jr, that Israel provided EVERYTHING the Gazans could possibly want. Businesses, homes, agricultural exports, power, water- they had it ALL and they elected Hamas as their leaders and 2 years ago we had the end result of that peace plan.

Palestine is not mentioned in the Bible, Israel is. Palestinians as they call themselves have never had any other ambition than murdering Jews. They don't need handouts- they have proven those handouts simply end up formed as weapons to attack their Jewish neighbours.

And THIS is Jared Kushner's idea!

Israel doesn't owe the gazans anything. Since they remain enemies it's not in the interests of Israel to provide them with aid.

Yes, unfortunately. I hope Israel is addressing this shortfall in their National Security needs.
