Justin Trudeau’s Canada: Proposed Law May Allow Life Imprisonment for Online Speech ‘Crimes’

Imperfect but forgiven

Fox News reported Thursday that the Online Harms Act (Bill C-63) would permit life sentences. The article also said, “The law would also allow a provincial judge to impose house arrest and a fine if there were reasonable grounds to believe a defendant ‘will commit’ an offense.”

“Bill C-63 will create stronger protections for kids online and better safeguard everyone in Canada from online hate. The bill sets out a new vision for safer and more inclusive participation online,” the webpage continued:

“The proposed Online Harms Act would specifically target seven types of harmful content”:

Content that sexually victimizes a child or revictimizes a survivor;
Intimate content communicated without consent;
Content used to bully a child;
Content that induces a child to harm themselves;
Content that foments hatred;
Content that incites violence; and
Content that incites violent extremism or terrorism.

The last three listed can/will probably be used against Christians in one form or another.

PM Trudeau taking lessons from Mao. Bet there's a Little Red Book prominently displayed on his desk or bookshelf.

Bet that bill will be used to shut down/block access to Christian and Bible sites. Wonder if it could be used against apps . . .
Best to have a hard-copy, unadulterated Bible, NOW.

A Canadian's participation on any site could bring them under that law. Including our own site. Of course, the western world is likely going in that direction so Canadians will just be among the first to experience that type of religious persecution if the law passes.

From Rebel News:
Canada is now the most dangerous place in the world for freedom of speech.

Four bills. Falling like dominos. C-11, C-18, C-36 and the Online Harms Act. Each one building on the other, to build a censorship regime whose only comparison is places like North Korea.

Watch Ezra Levant breakdown each piece of censorship legislation, and explain what it all means:

And it’s not like any of the mainstream media are actively opposing them — the opposite; they’re excited about it.

Canada is in trouble, and the watchdogs who are supposed to be on guard are all sleeping.

Rebel News will:
  1. Keep you up to date on changes to Canada's censorship laws and regulations.
  2. Advocate for all censorship laws to be repealed.
  3. Actually fight back against these censorship laws through constitutional litigation
This is the key battle between the people of Canada and the Justin Trudeau government.

Rebel is the best source of news here in Canada and Trudeau is trying to shut them down by any and all means possible.

Ezra is honest. There are no watchdogs left other than a few like Rebel, and some sites like Mr Sunshine Baby, Pierre Poilievre, because the mainstream news took a huge cash stream of tax funded money from Trudeau's office to report things his way.

Most people hate Trudeau that I talk to. Even die hard Liberals want him OUT. But he's tied up the media and he's working on shutting down Rebel and others like the Truckers. People in the cities still like him though and they carry the vote.
