Trump has approved Iran attack plans, but is holding off on giving order — report

US President Donald Trump told staffers that he has approved plans to strike Iran, but is waiting to see if Iran will give up on its nuclear program before issuing any order to attack, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Trump informed his senior aides yesterday that he had approved the plans, the report says, citing “people familiar with the deliberations.”

Trump Responds to Report That He Has Approved Iran Attack Plans

(To the point)

President Donald Trump has responded to a report claiming that after acting mainly as a supporting player in Israel’s war with Iran, the United States could be moving toward center stage.

The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that Trump has approved of attack plans on the Islamic Republic but is withholding a final green light to see if Tehran’s leaders are willing to give up their quest for nuclear weapons.

However, on Thursday, Trump responded to the Journal report on his Truth Social account.

“The Wall Street Journal has No Idea what my thoughts are concerning Iran!” the commander in chief wrote.

I've never liked Candace since day one and it has nothing to do with redemption, rather a very predictable and observable dread arc she has been on since she landed. She was a bright-eyed fringe leftist who used to dox people for having wrong think on the internet, only to magically wake up a red-blooded conservative. And she just has sooooo much to say about sooooo much, and a lot of that has just been looney fare. Now, she's one-upped herself and she's telling the people serving in the military to get dishonorably discharged so they don't have to follow orders in context of Israel vs Iran. And to quote her exactly, "Get dishonorbaly discharged. Who cares?" And then she went on to defame our service in the sandbox.

I wonder if she has any idea whatsoever what a dishonorable discharge does to you. For those that don't know, it basically ruins your entire life and that's putting it very politely. And she talks about it so flippantly like it's nothing, but that's her MO. I don't think she has a serious bone in her body. Candace has to be one of the most insufferable people occupying the chattering classes today, along with Tucker, Nick Fuentes, Alex Jones, et al.
There is a channel on youtube i check out sometimes. It's a popular atheist take. I visit it as I kind of have missionary syndrome in my blood and am drawn to how curtain large portions of culture are thinking like. This channel had been in videos dabates with believers of note on YouTube. So for me it has appeal to better understand how others are thinking like. This channel happens to be done by a female commentator. And she took issue once a while back with Candace regarding roles for women (wives/mothers). And I was actually shocked that the atheist was making a bit more sense than Candace. Not that the leftist ideology was correct. It was just that Candace (although had conservative female values to a degree) seemed to use the conservative sense to kind of bully women with her ideas. I certainly don't side with the athiest takes. But it was quite an eye openner. Almost like 1984 ish if lets say like what things might have looked like if the church of England had won the American Revolutionary war. Or if good conservative values become like a dictatorship of sorts I reckon. Again, not a defense of the left at all. Just I guess how even in things I would naturally like about Candace were noted as suspect to me on that day. Blessings.

Per Caroline Levett on Fox News, quote from Trump "I will make my decision in the next two weeks". That seems way too long to me but oh well....
Its like "kicking the can down the road".
But what I try to keep in mind is how Trump thinks
First of all he is against American involvement in what he calls "forever foreign wars" which he made clear in his first term as President
Another thing to keep in mind is that Trump is trying to be strategic, while pushing for Iran to voluntarily dismantle their nuclear program to make nuclear weapons, he wont hold back from doing what he has to do to maintain the security of the US and of course our ally Israel.
Also, directly attacking Iran in an offensive strike, the threat of security will still exist because Trump knows there are an unknown number of sleeper cells in the US just waiting for the orders that could begin terrorism within the US, and this has been known by the FBI amd CIA for decades, and not to mention Iran has allies that may get involved in retaliation.
So, Im sure Trump is weighing all of the pros and cons in getting into direct conflict with Iran but he does hold the authority to decide if its in the best interest to take the risks involved which appears there's indication that he is ready, and the US is still a military world power that has the capability to bring the threats under control ahead of the threats that may take place whether the US makes an offensive strike on Iran sooner rather than later.

Israel may be done with Iran in another week or so. If Israel is successful, the only thing left that will need changing is the current regime, and that'll be up to the Iranian people.

This!
Putting off the inevitable is just not wise in my opinion even if we do have sleeper cells in this country. The fact that they are here guarantees a strike from them in any case sooner or later. WW2 should have taught everyone that appeasement will not work.

I keep in mind that no matter what threats against Israel exists, Israel may go through some sorrows as history has shown, and it will continue into Jacobs trouble until they call on Messiah Jesus to save them but Israel will always exist according the Gods covenant with them

Also, Donald Trump does not want to be the one responsible for any American service people coming home in body bags. I am convinced this weighs heavily on his mind.

Absolutely it surely is on his mind but the military knows this and accepts it when they join. I know my Shawn knew and accepted that when he got into the Marine Corp and later into law enforcement. He told me he would be honored to die protecting his brothers and sisters in law enforcement and would join the fight even if he knew he was greatly outnumbered to protect others. I know and have always known this is his temperament and character and it never upset me because I trust God with the outcome whatever it may be. I did tell him that I know he has a whole squad of guardian angels and they are all always exhausted. lolol

White House says Iran able to produce nuclear bomb in ‘a couple of weeks’

Iran could produce a nuclear weapon in the space of a “couple of weeks,” the White House says, as US President Donald Trump debates whether to take military action against the Islamic Republic.

“Iran has all that it needs to achieve a nuclear weapon. All they need is a decision from the supreme leader to do that, and it would take a couple of weeks to complete the production of that weapon,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt tells reporters.

If the White House is saying Iran Will have a nuclear bomb in "a couple of weeks", why is the White House also saying Trump will decide whether to strike Iran in a "couple of weeks"?
Is he waiting until they make one?

Does anyone even know if Iran might already have a nuclear bomb that one of their allies, like China, Russia or North Korea, who might have delivered it to Iran and if so, who knows when or how long they have had one?
I don't think anyone can really say if this is possible.

Just as other Nuclear power nations have made nuke threats but have held back from acting on the threats, Iran could be doing the same thing if in fact they do already have a nuclear bomb in their possession.

White House: Intelligence briefings scheduled for Trump on Friday, Saturday and Sunday

The White House announced that intelligence briefings have been scheduled for President Donald Trump for the next three days, amid the possibility that the US will join Israel's strikes against Iran. According to the White House, briefings with the National Security Council have been scheduled for the president for tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday

Bearing in mind we are dealing with Twelvers here, who may want to bring about chaos and destruction so their Mahdi will come out from wherever he's supposed to be hiding. I assume they could put together dirty bombs right now. Things I was hearing today suggested all that enriched uranium they have has disappeared. Who knows what will happen, but God.

I'm going to guess that Trump is doing Trump things, which in this case means he wants those crazy mullahs to keep guessing what he's up to.

He's leaving it open to strike Iran anytime he feels it necessary, but he isn't acting yet- just waiting to see how Israel does and what happens.

As long as the crazy mullahs don't think he's going to strike they may actually not send their suicide squads into action. Once they know that America is coming for them, they will throw everything they have into the fight.

For those who don't know, some of the consequences of a Dishonorable Discharge:

Loss of 2nd Amendment Rights
No access to military installations, so cannot visit military family members, and cannot live with a military spouse on base/post
Military spouse's security clearance and/or job can be adversely affected
Civilian spouse's security clearance and/or job can be adversely affected
Children's attendance at some private schools can be adversely affected
Civilian dependents lose status and access to benefits, including housing, schools, medical, child care, Army Community Servce, Army Emergency Relief, Navy Relief, etc.
Loss of eligibility for USAA, Navy Credit Union, etc. insurance and banking services
No Veteran's benefits (medical, education, assistance programs), to include those programs dependents could have been eligible for
No VA disability benefits
No VA home loan benefits
No VA homeless benefits
Not considered a Veteran, so no DD214 and no Veteran's preference for government or civilian employment
Cannot get a letter or ID to prove service, so no Veteran discounts
Generally cannot obtain Federal, State, or other business loans, grants, etc., or participate in contracting activities
Generally cannot obtain Federal, State, or municipal employment
No industrial or government security clearance
Generally cannot get bonded
No unemployment benefits following discharge
No moving benefits following discharge; only the cheapest one-way ticket for the person discharged, and no property shipped. Any dependents are on their own
No Federal student loans or grants, and generally no State or County education benefits
If a Courts-Martial conviction occurred, the Federal/Felony conviction shows up every time a records check is run, including routine traffic stops, and all restrictions placed on convicted Felons apply
In some states, no access to public housing or other housing programs
In some places, no access to homeless shelters
Some churches, denominations, missions, ministries, etc. will not hire or allow to volunteer
Some private employers refuse to hire people with less than an Honorable Discharge. As the character of discharge gets worse, the percentage of employers, who refuse to hire, goes up
Some schools will not admit or allow to live in dorms/other student housing
Some States will not license for some professions

Lots of other consequences
Is that it LOL

Makes me wonder to about the Elam prophecy as well whether it will get fulfilled or not because i remember another post where you had a map of here Ancient Elam is and it was located sort of near the upper North West whereas these current attacks are in the south.

Disclaimer , i don't wanna see lives taken but i wanna witness prophecy being fulfilled

I think so to. Trump has the regime worried that it will be toppled. its likely Iran is shaking in their turbans right now because its reported they have turned to the UN for help as Israel is pummeling them and to put a restraint on the US to not join in the war.

Iran Calls on UN To Halt Israel's Attacks and Stop Trump From Joining War

This, and a multiple of other information he has to consider before making a decision. None of us have any idea of what classified info he has, what other countries are privately telling him, and what our own intel is telling him. Its easy for all of us to say bomb it now, but we don’t know what other countries have told him it will lead too. Ultimately, I think taking out Fordow trumps all other considerations. The ME, and the rest of the world would be better off if Irans Nuke program is turned into an undriveable parking lot.
