Methinks few would know what The Unit is doing. I know they are getting more chatty these days, but still...They aren't known for loose lips and their orders sure aren't up for public consumption. If they have a leak inside, I'd absolutely loathe to be that man.

Why? He has quite frequently said he is going to overtake Panama, Greenland, and perhaps even Canada.........why not a nuclear base in Iran?

We will just have to wait and see. I don't think the US taking over Iran fits the Biblical narrative, not if Ezek 38 has Iran going in with Russia and Turkey for Gog Magog.
Iran in the Ezek 38 event is not trying to wipe out Israel, just steal them blind- so them being seriously set back, especially financially, but still independent, still a friend of Russia makes sense with Ezek 38.

I think Trump wants to make sure that the nuclear base is neutralized and I think it obvious that nobody except America or Israel can be trusted to do that. Since the base is so deep in the mountain that it can't easily be destroyed from the outside, the Marines would secure the base to ensure no bad actors would take anything out or come in to do mischief until US trusted people can render the base harmless, both now and into the future. I see nothing suspicious in the plan. It all seems very logical and praiseworthy to me.
The only way to secure that site would be to totally defeat Iran. Otherwise, in the middle of Iran, this base/site would take thousands to defend, and with unlimited air support. A logistical feat which as of now, would likely be impossible to accomplish. Better bet, bunker buster bombs deployed would then no longer have a need to defend a site that no longer exists.

I think the whole thing about Delta Force taking over the site, presumably to destroy it, was just a wild idea from somebody who is clueless, and there are a lot of clueless people out their sharing their thoughts.

About Fordow, or Fodrow, or however you spell it, if it is buried so deep in the mountain that even a MOP delivered by a B2 or something wouldn't reach it, why not just turn the entrances into craters so it's inaccessible, and whoever is in there gets sealed in?
Thinking of some elite unit going in to take it may seem crazy, but then again Israel apparently had Mossad embedded in the top levels of the IRGC, and a secret drone base ready to go within Iran. Not to mention the beeper setup. Maybe they have some clever way to hack it and make it self-destruct from the inside out.
To my little brain, this does look like the setup for Jeremiah 49, and further out, Ezekiel 38 conditions of dwelling peacefully, recovered from war.

He's probably more wore out than the fighter pilots. May God give Bibi some good rest, he as well as other leaders who are important in directing this fight for survival. Flying at altitude in pressure suits is enormously stressful on our bodies. I hope that Israel has enough pilots so that they're not being compelled to fly more hours than is safe.
Fordow is believed to be about 90 meters below the surface. A MOP can penetrate as much as 18 meters before exploding. It might take 5 of them or so to finally reach the area to be destroyed.
It might be more cost effective to send a good sized team in to temporarily hold that ground while a team goes in and wires the place for destruction, eliminating any personnel they come across.

He was interviewing an OFFICIAL Israeli govt source Yaacov Lappin who is an IDF spokesman.
It was heartening to hear just how the different military from other countries helped out and Israel's pov in all this.
It's an hour, I listened to it all, it was the best reporting I've heard in a LONG time especially with the western media distorting things routinely. Even alternative sources that many of us trust have resorted to speculation and rumours.

This apparently was NOT (as was commonly reported) a pre emptive strike. This was a necessity, there was simply no more time to waste for Iran to spin out the talks.
They brought up the way Trump did help Israel distract Iran (and the fact that it was day 61), they talked about the situation in Iran, how they plan for the next few weeks, what Israel is aiming for.
This was the news interview I've been waiting for. Clear, cut to the chase, remove the fog.
The guest gets quite technical in places for the military people here - you'll enjoy and understand that part better than I did. Looking at you @Andy C @Tall Timbers @Ghoti Ichthus and others.
By the end I was smiling as these two who don't refer to Ezek 38 at ALL- describe the very goals for Israel in this- that MATCH 100% perfectly to the situation described in Ezekiel 38. Dwelling in peace and security without fear.

It appears to me to actually be the duty of the US to go in and destroy not only Fordow but the other places where enriched uranium is stored in Iran. Little Israel is protecting itself but also the US and the rest of the entire world by destroying Iranian weapons and the US needs to take a larger part in my opinion.
We do know of course, that Iran will not be completely destroyed and will still have some ability to join Russia for the EZ.38,39 war.
