Israel to consider proposal for long-truce, disarming Hamas, end of war

The latest proposal to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza will be presented to Israeli and Hamas negotiators in Cairo, the Qatari Al Araby channel said on Tuesday. The proposal includes the agreement for a seven-year-long truce in the fighting between Israel and Hamas, the terror group being disarmed and in effect ending its rule over Gaza, and an Israeli withdrawal of troops from the Strip.

I do know this is not THE so called peace treaty. On the other hand anything with 7 or 3.5 years attached to it certainly has my attention...

I think that would be a win for Hamas, but Israel must be war weary by now. The whole thing since Oct 7 has certainly been a loss for Iran. Hezbollah is a big loser as well and the Houthis likely will be before it is over. But somehow Hamas fights on
