Israel launches attack aimed at Hamas leaders in Qatar’s capital

I hope Trump is merely covering for Witkoffs actions and isn't also prone to keeping Qatar in the loop after his big fancy jet gift by Qatar!
Let's not forget the Trump family is making real estate deals in Qatar to build a luxury golf course resort!

The Trump family company struck a deal Wednesday to build a luxury golf resort in Qatar in a sign it has no plans to hold back from foreign dealmaking during a second Trump administration, despite the danger of a president shaping U.S. public policy for personal financial gain.

The project, which features Trump-branded beachside villas and an 18-hole golf course to be built by a Saudi Arabian company, is the first foreign deal by the Trump Organization since Donald Trump took office and unlike any done in his first term. Back then, he forswore foreign deals in an extraordinary press conference surrounded by stacks of legal documents as he pledged to avoid even the appearance of conflict of interest.

Donald Trump‘s $3 billion investment in Qatar’s Simaisma coastal project marks a significant milestone, signaling Qatar’s rising status in global luxury real estate. Partnering with prominent entities Qatari Diar and Dar Global, the Trump Organization is making its first strategic entry into Qatar, strengthening the country’s attractiveness to international investors. Located just 40 kilometers north of Doha, the development promises unparalleled luxury, including premium residential villas, a championship golf course, and world-class amenities. This transformative venture underscores Qatar’s robust economic landscape, transparent regulatory environment, and rapidly expanding infrastructure, positioning it as an elite destination for strategic real estate investments.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

“I say to Qatar and to all the countries that provide shelter for terrorists: either expel them or bring them to justice. Because if you don’t do it, we will.”
“Tomorrow is September 11. We remember September 11. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime on American soil since the founding of the United States.
We also have our September 11. We remember October 7. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime against the Jewish people since the Holocaust.
What did America do after September 11? It vowed to hunt down the terrorists who carried out that terrible crime, wherever they may be. And it also passed a resolution in the UN Security Council, two weeks later, stating that governments cannot provide sanctuary to terrorists.
Well, yesterday we acted accordingly. We pursued the masterminds of terror who carried out the October 7 massacre. And we did so in Qatar, which shelters them, which provides refuge to terrorists, which funds Hamas, which gives its terrorist leaders luxurious villas, which gives them everything.
So we did exactly what America did when it pursued the al-Qaeda terrorists in Afghanistan and when it went and killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan.
Now, various countries of the world are condemning Israel. They should be ashamed of themselves. What did they do after America eliminated Osama bin Laden? Did they say, ‘Oh, what a terrible thing has been done to Afghanistan or to Pakistan?’ No—they applauded. They should applaud Israel for standing on the same principles and acting on them.
And I say to Qatar and to all the countries that provide shelter for terrorists: either expel them or bring them to justice. Because if you don’t do it, we will.”*

Hamas said it will continue hostage deal negotiations despite Israel’s deadly strike in Doha that killed at least five. The group’s political bureau agreed to press ahead, demanding a ceasefire, Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, and guarantees on future governance.

So all of a sudden, and despite the killing of "a few" of their leaders, Hamas wants to negotiate.
Hmm, let's see it they will, this time...

Looks like God stopped Witkoff getting thru to Qatar in his warning phone call as reported by I24 Israeli news Israeli strike: Due to missed call, US warning to Qatar was too late - i24NEWS

"The Pentagon had detected the incoming missiles and quickly alerted the White House. President Donald Trump then instructed Witkoff to urgently contact the Qatari Prime Minister. However, calls went unanswered. Witkoff eventually reached the Deputy Prime Minister, but by then, explosions were already being reported in Doha."

The Security Counsil:

All 15 member states of the UN Security Council condemned the attack in Doha (including the USA), without mentioning the name of Israel, or the fact that the attack was aimed at the senior Hamas leadership based in Qatar.
