Is President Trump the Antichrist?

I believe that Donald Trump is the Antichrist and feel the need to share my concerns.

President Trump has corrupted the Christian values of pastors, politicians and ordinary citizens and he has caused the neediest among us to suffer. Internationally, he has aligned himself with the world's most cruel leaders.

It is clear to me that President Trump is not a true believer. He did thank God for the prophetic survival of an attempt on his life. However, he never attends church, he refused to quote a favorite Bible passage when asked to do so, and he has recently filled his Oval Office golden idols. Most important, would he lie so easily, give such hateful speeches, and make vindictive promises of retribution if he ever asked "What Would Jesus Do?"

I hear President Trump described as an imperfect messiah. Being the Antichrist seems more believable. If you seek a seat in heaven then you may have to make a choice. Support him and risk losing it, or play it safe like me and keep your distance.

Donald Trump does have his faults but i wouldn't go labelling him as the antichrist nor judge him whether he is saved or not.

I'm pretty sure my seat in heaven is guaranteed by what Christ did not by anything I do once I've accepted Him. And respectfully, most people voted for a president not a savior. Surely a vote for a man who stands against the murder of little children, corruption in government, and, among other evil things being taught to our children, the idea of transgenderism, and who stands for peace, prosperity and personal freedoms is not a vote for anything against God or His Word. Quite the opposite, I would suggest. And given the choice in the last election, I don't think there was any other option for Christians. To not have voted would have allowed open evil to occupy the White House and further do irreparable harm to this nation.

What Donald Trump turns out to be is a matter for the future. But, based on his first 4 years and what he is setting out to do now I do not see evil as his intention. But of course the Antichrist will at first appear benign, saying and doing all the right things. There is no doubt that the AC is alive in the world today and active. But, according to 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8, no one will know who he is until he is revealed after the Church has been raptured.

Certainly very few people are neutral about thus president. Everybody has a different view of the man: some positive and some negative. And I have no problem with that. However, here in this fellowship the emphasis is on Christ and what He has done for us and how we should live in this current age as we find ourselves in the end of the end times. We try not to focus on those things that divide us, unless they are erroneous interpretations of scripture. And then we engage in discussion to seek a better understanding of God's Word to us.

I notice you are a brand new member. I encourage you to explore and engage in our prayer and praise section, our worship, comfort and encouragement section, and all of the other aspects of this fellowship. God uses each of us to help the others as we are being built up into what He called each one of us to be-- faithful servants.

Many leaders throughout history have been seen as Antichrist and it's been because those leaders had things about them that some would see as evil about them. Many of those leaders who have been thought to be Antichrist have come and gone. As a matter of fact John being the only one who uses the term Antichrist says there are many antichrists. But only one final Antichrist.

"Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour."

Some people may not like some things about him, but that doesn't make him The Antichrist.

Knowing scripture, in particular prophecy, The Antichrist cannot appear until the start of the Tribulation depicted as the rider on the white horse.
We are not in the Tribulation.
According to 2 Thessalonians chapter 2, The Antichrist isn't revealed until after the restrainer is removed when the church is Raptured.

Another thing is going by the prophecies of Daniel 7 and Revelation 17, there has to be a one world government of ten kings in place first, and the Antichrist doesn't have power and authority to rule until the one world government gives him that power to rule.
There's no one world government yet and right now I don't see that world leaders are supportive of Trump other than Israel, and Israel isn't part of the coming one world government that gives power to The Antichrist, because it's Israel who will be persecuted by The Antichrist.
There's other reasons why Trump can't be The Antichrist but those alone is enough to prove he can't be.

I think as Christians we don't need to be looking for The Antichrist because we won't be here when he's revealed, but instead keep looking for the coming of Our Lord Jesus to come take us to heaven with Him.

No, President Trump is not the AntiChrist. He is not our savior. President Trump is a man that God allowed to be our president at this time in our nation’s history for his purposes. As many have said in other posts, God will use Trump as he sees fit and I believe he will further Bible Prophecy through how we help or hurt Israel.

He can't be, because the AC won't be revealed until the Restrainer is out of the way.

Could he become the AC?
Yes, it is possible, but we don't judge or revile people on how they will/might become.

And yes, we can worry, and keep a close eye on everything happening in the world.
But let's bring our concerns to the throne of God, and leave it in His capable hands.

Let's Google... On Easter, Trump posted — and this is a copy/paste, so it may not be complete, but:

Now, maybe he didn't mean it, maybe he had his writers put it together, maybe it was the Autopen. But most people who wouldn't mean it wouldn't even bother saying something like this. I'm sure the literal Antichrist would not even dream of it.

Let's compare some of what the Bible says about the AC:

Daniel writes: He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers, nor for the one desired by women*, nor for any other god, because he will magnify himself above them all. *ie, the Messiah.

Paul adds: Let no one deceive you in any way, for it will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness—the son of destruction—is revealed. He will oppose and exalt himself above every so-called god or object of worship. So he will seat himself in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

One of these things is not like the other.

I always read that the antichrist would be sly and cunning - as in smooth-talking, perhaps handsome,
and very attractive in many ways to the masses. So, no...........Trump is not the antichrist.

Yes, according to Revelation 13, the whole world will exceedingly admire and follow the Antichrist and the world Empire he leads.

Quite the opposite of what we're seeing today. Today there's great resistance, calls for murdering our president and continued disparegement of him.

Given that Trump is so hated by the whole world, which is influenced by Satan, to me puts Trump completely out as a contender for Antichrist.

Additionally, since the Holy Spirit is still here within the church on earth, still restraining, the Antichrist cannot be revealed yet either. That seems to suggest guesses are also fruitless.
