Iran Threatens to Attack Apple, Google, and Other US Tech Firms in Middle East

A list of 18 companies, including Apple, Google, and Microsoft, faces a new ultimatum as the conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran escalates further.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has drawn a line in the sand, warning that starting Wednesday, it will begin targeting a roster of American tech giants across the Middle East. The group has accused these companies of being deeply entangled in the high-tech warfare that it claims has contributed to the deaths of Iranian officials.

The hit list: 18 companies named

Iran is accusing these firms of being the “main element” in tracking and identifying targets for the US and Israeli operations. The list of 18 entities includes nearly every major household name in American technology, as well as aerospace and financial giants.

The companies named by the IRGC include:

  • Big tech: Google (Alphabet), Microsoft, Apple, and Meta.
  • Chips & AI: Nvidia and Intel.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud: Oracle, HP, IBM, Cisco, Dell, and Palantir.
  • Transport & Energy: Tesla and Boeing.
  • Finance: J.P. Morgan Chase and GE.
  • Regional players: The UAE’s AI firm G42 and Dubai-based Spire Solutions.

Amazon says cloud operations in Bahrain disrupted after Iranian threats to US companies

The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for damage at Amazon’s cloud computing center in Bahrain, following earlier threats to target US companies operating in the region, as tensions escalate in the ongoing conflict involving the United States and Israel.

In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps linked the threat to what it described as “terrorism” by the United States and Israel in the current conflict.

The statement framed US technology firms as part of military planning and intelligence processes, signaling an expansion of potential targets beyond traditional military or government sites.

Amazon said last week that its Amazon Web Services region in Bahrain experienced disruptions during the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, marking the second incident in a month in which the war has affected its operations.

Iran Targets Oracle Data Centre In Dubai: Report

Iran said its latest wave of attacks on Thursday had targeted the UAE, Bahrain and Israel after US-Israeli strikes hit the country's two largest steel plants.

"In response to attacks on Iranian steel industries, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched a new wave of attacks this morning," the military's central command, Khatam Al-Anbiya said in a statement carried by state TV.

Quoting the Revolutionary Guards' navy command, Tasnim news agency also said the data centres of two US firms -- Oracle in Dubai and Amazon in Bahrain -- were targeted.

Seems Iran's capacity to wage war is still intact. And the longer this continues the weaker Trump looks. With the hostilities raising the prices of many things, especially gasoline in America, things are looking very bleak for the midterms in 7 months. Perhaps God's temporary reprieve for America (which the Republicans spectacularly have failed to capitalize on) is almost over.

I think you are right- hopes are slim on that count, but I'm praying for that reprieve to continue.
