A loud blast was heard, and a plume of smoke could be seen rising late on Tuesday above the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, a stronghold of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.

The city has been on edge for days ahead of an anticipated Israeli attack in retaliation for a strike on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights that killed a dozen Druze children and teenagers.

Israel and the United States have blamed Hezbollah for the attack. Hezbollah has denied responsibility.

The IDF carried out a targeted strike in Beirut, on the commander responsible for the murder of the children in Majdal Shams and the killing of numerous additional Israeli civilians. Erdogan is making threats towards Israel and ironically labelling Netanyahu as this centuries Hitler.

If this is the only response from Israel, then they have bowed to the wishes of the U.S. to not escalate.

Not much of a response compared to what they were saying they would do.

Confirmed by I24 News a few hours ago. Only 2 ways this can go. Israel will wait and see if Hezbollah strikes back. If they don't full out war can be avoided. Retaliation by Hezbollah will bring destruction to Lebanon.
